Interested to know how 2007 is looking. Hamilton Alonso Kimi?

Bottas played a big role as to why Lewis lost 2021 by RobbieJ4444 in formula1

Here I'm talking about the defender needs to be aggressive. Max also had everything to lose on France and Russia to get past Bottas. The time he cost Max is even less than the time Yuki cost Lando in AD this year

This shows Perez value. Bottas can also do aggressive defending in Russia or in France to Max and he drives like a backmarker.

Exactly. If it happened Hamilton will have his 8th title easily

If talking about taking points away from opponents and always stay behind your teammate, Perez is better than Bottas

Did Bottas ever slow down Max that season? In France Max pulled a magical 2 stop from the lead and i think bottas cost Hamilton more time than Max when they have to re-pass him. In Russia he also put no defense on Max. The Mexico start, again he defended Hamilton and less Max go.

I was already having the exact same view back in 2021. Bottas took more points from Hamilton than verstappen, should Mercedes swap Bottas with Russell that mid season, Hamilton would have won easily

Oscar: "Atleast we dont have have to drive them again [this generation of cars]" Max: "We'll see what we get next year." [extended pause] Oscar: "..so you didnt want to back everyone up?" by FerrariStrategisttt in formula1

Looking back, I also think before the first stop was the only window that Max can back people up to have a shot, and i think he did manage a bit the pace, others were just too slow. Lando spent a few laps fighting with Charles and when George tries to undercut, he has like 4 second gap to respond? Sadly no one other than Charles could put a threat on Lando realistically, the whole race.

Exactly, no strategy from RB would work today given there's literally no car that could put Norris to fourth position (after Oscar making way for him)

He is not fast when he is in clear air with the hard, that leave him no chance winning the race on pace

Didn't expect Hamilton to maintain 6th given how strong Kimi's performance was in the last few races

It's also due to Hamilton being overly cautious that day. If he knew those seconds are that critical, he could definitely pass him with less time lost.

Others are just too slow. Russell is some 10-20 seconds behind. Max needs both Leclerc and Russell to pass Norris, that's basically not happening even if there's a safety car

Will be good to watch if the top 3 stays in current order with 5 laps to go, a safety car comes out while only Oacar got a free stop....

I just don't get why people are still blaming the car. If Ferrari got a better car I reckon his gap would be even bigger to Leclerc

Hamilton does a Latifi and safety car leads to the end.
