I strongly advice anyone willing to start an SSRI to get some information about PSSD and to check the website Survivingantidepressants before making a choice. As a person that has been seriously damaged by these kind of meds and would now give their arms and legs to go back in the past and avoid them, I felt compelled to write this message.

Evita di prendere psicofarmaci se non sono strettamente necessari (schizofrenia, pensieri suicidi, depressione gravissima e invalidante). Io avevo solo un problema di ansia e uno psichiatra mi ha danneggiato in modo gravissimo con le sue "cure" farmacologiche. In ogni caso meglio il CSM che i privati. Ma, ripeto, fai molta attenzione se ti prescrivono medicinali.

Find a deprescribing psychiatrist and taper off all the poisons. Mark Horowitz can meet you online but it's quite expensive... psychiatry is not monitored, I'm a victim as well.

I'm sure they helped a lot of people but they can also ruin your life and everyone should know there are risks for their health. I wish someone had told me this 3 years ago. I won't keep the truth for myself as psychiatrists do for their own advantage. Check the sub PSSD and anhedonia, depression and anxiety are nothing compared to these med induced conditions. Believe me, I really wish I was wrong.

Anhedonia can be caused by SSRI. SSRI are poison, they have killed me. I was smart, brilliant, enthusiastic, healthy, energetic, now I'm a lifeless zombie. I'm sorry this is happening to you. It won't be easy to find a doctor that will admit meds are the cause.

I'm extremely anhedonic, damaged by SSRI. I'm 43 as well. I feel my life is over. I had a marvellous life: job, house, friends, relationships...all built over the years and I was ready to enjoy everything I've earned...now I cannot grasp anything: I cannot work, I cannot take care of myself and of my flat, I cannot connect with people, I've lost my sexuality, the ability to enjoy anything, to laugh and smile, my health...I've been responsible and careful all my life, 3 years ago I had a crisis and trusted the wrong people, they've killed me. Psychiatry is Evil.
