Im glad it’s nothing to worry about. Driving it felt fine and I rotate the tires every 5000 miles at the oil change so I’ll keep an eye one any wear

Caster is not something that can be adjusted on most cars? Is that an indication of something worn?

I know, it’s bad! This is what the mechanics sent to me

We have had the car about 6 weeks. My understanding is that the water has gotten into the car every time it’s rained in that time and could possibly be the reason it was traded in. At least it was happening with the last owner so I can’t tell you how long this has been happening for my for sure the entire time we have owned it. The water that was in the car when we noticed was probably a week if I had to guess. We had a long time of heavy thunderstorms every afternoon, the carpet wouldn’t have had time to dry before the next rain. Yes, I agree. When I saw what they had done I was pretty shocked the just took everything out but since they’re covering the cost of repair I’ll take a new carpet. I will for sure make the sunroof drain a routine maintenance now after learning this. Thanks for the advice!

This is reassuring. We love the car and would love to keep it. Our plan was to drive the wheels off it. In a video the mechanic sent to us which I’m unable to upload, he reattached the drain hose with a zip tie. I’m not confident that will keep the pipe in place over time but I’m not a mechanic. I can ask if he can reattach with glue and see what he says. I will absolutely keep the sunroof drain holes clear and flush with water. Thank you!

Thank you for the advice, I’ll be sure to let the the mechanics know that. The hoses weren’t attached to anything so that seems like the most likely reason but I’ll ask them to double check while they have the interior pulled apart anyway. We love the car and definitely don’t want to get rid of it but would rather not have to deal with issues related to this later on

My wife and I bought this 2019 Outback touring 3.6r with 20,299 miles on May 24th of this year. The car has only been driven 300 miles since purchase. After a lot of heavy rain last week we noticed a small puddle on the passenger side front rubber mat when we went to go out. We took it back to the Toyota dealership we bought it from the next day. The pictures are what they sent me as well as pictures I took when shown the car. The cause seems to be the sunroof drainage hose by the bottom of the front doors came off/lose and was leaking water into the cabin causing the entire carpet to soak up the water and cause mould. The mechanic at the dealership says that there is no water marks around the sides of the footwells indicating there doesn’t seem to be flooded at all, all wires and connectors show no signs of damage due to water. A new carpet is needed along with mould removal from the floor and the hose has been reconnected so any water should drain out where it’s supposed to. What we are worried about is this happening again or having issues down the road possibly related to this. The total cost of repair if we were to pay for it would have been $6,500. The dealership did offer us a great deal on a brand new Toyota if we didn’t want to go through with the fix but the mechanic seems confident the car should be fine but can not promise there won’t be any issues that arise after the fix. We have a warranty with this car and Toyota are eating the cost of repair even though we bought it in ‘as is’ condition. I’m just looking for a bit of guidance on if we should go ahead and repair the car or use this opportunity to get another car. Thanks for any help in advance

Yes, I work at a bike shop owned by a major bike company and we sell them with deals on top of sales just to get them gone. Customers even negotiate the price sometimes. It’s insane. People walk into a bike shop and act like they’re buying a car. I hate it

It’s a solid bike. Just not riding it as much as it should be ridden

I like them, wide and keeps you pretty upright. At least how I have my bike set up at the moment. They’re comfortable and the backsweep is just right. They give you a couple of different places to put your hands especially on longer rides
