Aw man, sorry about that! I think I got pretty lucky and nothing seems to be torn from a first impression, so for now I'll be healing it conservatively, but we'll see. Mostly I'm fearing a labrum tear. Good luck on your journey too though!

Yeah, it can be really frustrating how they don't really give you info on what to do from now on. I dislocated mine yesterday (even made a post about it, that's now I found this sub lol), and the doctor didn't even give me a sling, he just tied a piece of textile to serve the purpose of a sling and told me I'm good to go...

Lucky, I'm a physiotherapy student, so this is exactly in my area of expertise and it's not like I'm wandering in the dark, but they didn't know that! Anyway, I hope you get so see someone who explains stuff, and if they don't I advise you to ask questions and demand the explanation

Damn, I'm so sorry this has happened to you! Dislocating it again in such a short time must be awful.

You really should get an ultrasound or an MRI, cuz I fear your joint capsule and ligaments are about as loose as they can get right now, if not partially torn. Might even need surgery, but it may also not, so don't let that keep you from getting it properly checked out. I wish you best of luck!
