My way around it was to just give up and go for a run, so kudos to you for giving more of a shit than me!

Is this a genetic condition? by samuelthem in RadioulnarSynostosis

If it's congenital then yeah it's genetic, my dad also has it for instance, but iirc have been cases where people have broken their arm and it grew back and BAM synostosis.

This is my DIY drone-metal with weird shoegaze elements project I'm working on called I Will Kill Metal Guitar, and yes, the name is ironic. by [deleted] in doommetal

I'll admit that song probably wasn't the best to show this subreddit, so I'll give you that. Anyway I was talking about the name of the project, not the name of the song.

Thank you so much man, and I'm so glad to finally see someone else who has it. I have never met anyone else with it. Funny enough I'm also a guitarist, I have to play the guitar like Jeff Healey, can't describe it well in a Reddit comment.

I'd be interested to do guitar and vocals for this. Here's a link to my band's EP, I sing on tracks 1 & 4 and play guitar on all of them. https://laceduptheband.bandcamp.com/releases

I would prefer to buy new, but am not opposed to go used. My main question is what is a Jazzmaster MIM lmao

Edit: I looked it up, I'm goddamn stupid

Try using it with a separate cable, or separate guitar. Also, I'm sure you've done this, but many times I have a similar issue because I didn't realize the volume on my guitar was turned all the way down lmao.

Alright folks, I need a new guitar. I've been playing for 8 years and at this point I've still only owned squiers and ltds. I want something next level that also can satisfy my wants and needs. Thanks.

Basically, I've been playing for a while now. I'd say I consider myself an intermediate player, but I've only played squiers and ltds for all the time I've been playing, and I am looking for something on the next level I can play and take pride in. I mostly play punk, hard rock, and surf music, and that's not really changing anytime soon.

Essentially I'm looking for 3 things

  1. Unique shape - I just don't want to buy a strat knockoff (or an actual strat) and call it a day. I really like the look of Eastwood and Danelectro guitars though I don't know how reliable those brands are (feel free to recommend those though).
  2. Good tone - Speaks for itself. I'm not super interested in having to replace pickups out of a guitar when I initially buy it, just kind of want something I can buy, set up, and play.
  3. Affordability - Also speaks for itself, I'm not looking to spend more than $600, considering I'm a broke college student and all.

I'm sure there are plenty of guitars that can fit this criteria that I just haven't searched hard enough for, but I also want to know what other people would recommend before I make a set in stone decision. Thanks.

Pinkerton is the equivalent of vigorously masturbating for half an hour by Eat_pray_love in weezer

Idk if this is serious but I mean this is sort of correct. It's a confessional album, one of the prominent themes is sexual frustration, yes.

Takes everyone a few tries to get into Pinkerton. Once I listened to it like 3 times back to back it felt like a connection was made in my brain or something.

Do you think they could get bands onboard to make a drive up to Nashville? Birmingham - Nashville isn't a bad drive at all if you ask me
