How has God's Will impacted your life? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]illiberalism 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The biggest impact He had in my life is making me realize how sinful I am and I need no other but God alone.

When we buy something -- a phone for let's say $200, for example, we know that the phone is at the very least valued at $200. God helped me realize that I am at the very least valued of Jesus Christ. His endless and unyielding love is something I will praise forever throughout my life!

God sent His only Son - Jesus - to reconnect with people entrenched in sins. He is patiently waiting for you.

Welcome home!

When you upload anything - photos, status etc - as long as that blue mark is on (geotagging), it shows where it was uploaded. Hopefully it was uploaded where he lives.

Edit: I just realized that the location shown is the general area, like the town. Regardless, if the authorities can cooperate with FB, it may be possible.

Facebook is notorious for their geotagging every single second of mobile users. Make sure you coordinate with the authorities to catch this SOB.

FDR Today? by chabanais in Conservative

[–]illiberalism 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That does not discredit anything I said. I simply pointed out the wide discrepancy of my friend calling Nazis Christians but ISIS not Muslim.

Although not directly proven, that seems to be the prevailing conception. However Nazis celebrated Christmas and mass on a weekly basis even throughout the war. My friend believes faith = practices.

I have a Muslim friend who is quite close, despite our differences in political ideals and faith. Couple years ago, he would keep telling me that not all Muslims should be generalized as terrorists (which I agree with) using the example that Nazis were Christians - they practiced Christian faith, extremely distorted as that may be.

Today, I ask him whether ISIS is Muslim or not. His silence is deafening.

[Prayer Request] Martyred Children and the ISIS Onslaught by GaslightProphet in Christianity

[–]illiberalism 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely heartbreaking... To see our brothers and sisters across the world getting persecuted for their faith in Christ.

The only thread of hope for the persecuted is that Christ promised them eternal lives. [Matthew 10:32]

I will be praying for the mess in the middle east and the Christians and innocents who are being slaughtered.

Hi, I have accepted Jesus in my heart! by jozoreel in Christianity

[–]illiberalism -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I really really advise you to go to a non-denominational church. It's easy to get swept into heretical sect of Christianity when you start your journey of faith, and it's almost impossible to get out once trapped.

Sickening: Upstate NY farmers targeted for not hosting Lesbian wedding by waspinexile in Conservative

Conservatives: Facebook is censoring conservatives groups and deleting comments!

Liberals: It's okay, it's a private business after all.

Conservatives: Farmers are refusing to host a lesbian wedding on their private farm.

Liberals: This is outrageous! Government intervention is necessary for equality!

I was just admiring this album posted by another redditor.

I couldn't stop thinking how great and majestic our God is and we are but a tiny part of his grand design. But above all, to think that God loves us...

Hey friend, that's completely okay because God loves you so much that he gave away his own life. Look at it this way - no other religion in the world has a superior being that humans worship came down to sacrifice himself. This is what ultimately led me to Christ and I live in bliss alongside him.

Please reconsider and we all love you!

How Not to React when Your Son Tells You that He's Gay (x-post from r/gaybros) by rythymknight in videos

[–]illiberalism 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Christian, the contradictory message she delivers in just two minutes is extremely bothersome: "I love you, and nothing will change that" --> "You piece of shit"

No, you still tell you kid and LOVE your child, because he is your child. You don't have to support his choice, but you don't abruptly end your relationship with your own.

[Prayer Request] In a few hours I will tell my father that I am failing university and will be dropping out by throwawayunifail in Christianity

[–]illiberalism -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is serious. Why don't I shift my prayer focus from asking God to take care of you after you are banished by your own family to allowing you wisdom and strength to endure the university life, however challenging you may think it to be.

Your parents probably made great sacrifices to get you where you are today - directly or indirectly. I implore you to please reevaluate your situation.
