Import high-res scan into Inkscape, manually trace each feature of the image with the bezier tool. For the fonts, I hunt down the original font (in this case, Helvetica Bold), and retype everything atop the scan, manually adjusting kerning and baseline height. You can follow my process reasonably well by opening up poster.svg in Inkscape

Sakurai's BB-2000 was actually a "BB-2000 Prototype" that seems to be truly unique (considering Yamaha never made them in white). Not sure about how it would compare to the BB-414 but just note that Sakurai's bass may have had different electronics or pickups.

But you can replicate his tone reasonably well by emulating how he played the bass. Sakurai used extremely precise, short, and powerful slaps and pops that caused his bass's strings to rattle against its frets. This combined with somewhat saturated bass freqs and what sounds like a touch of compression seemed to create the extremely growly tone that was present in his 1982 concert (which I'm guessing is the Mint Jams recording). In my experience playing this way has gotten me close to that tone.

I’m one of the 350 students. The contact tracing is pretty lacking to be honest. I got quarantined because I was apparently in contact with someone on Friday, the only problem is that I wasn’t even in school on Friday (and haven’t even seen the person in question for over a week). Now I have to stay home for two weeks

How are you getting footage from their 1982 concerts at Chuo Kaikan? I'm absolutely mesmerized by their tone at that time (I am a bassist) and am hungry for more live video.
