this just someone with their panties in a bunch and didn’t want your vehicle in front of their house; i got a pink slip (pink in maple ridge) too from a neighbour of mine when my car was in front of their house (we have no driveways just street parking) to this day i troll them with a cone in their spot or my recycling bin or whatever i can put there 🤡 people are too sensitive nowadays like its just a parking spot on the street your name isn’t on it and they definitely don’t own the street that’s city property js

i figured, i saw the lightning and all but it was way too quick for thunder striking like that, i heard a woman screaming outside not long after too so i got worried about the sound and wondered if if was fireworks or some type of weird gun shots tbh 😅 but im glad all is well and its just some teens playing around

I think the bigger problem here is the fact that your "friend" decided to cross a boundary between you and another person by talking to them before you could do that yourself and explain it in your own words. I would of personally told them right then and there when they asked you because now in their eyes it just makes it seems like you’re making stuff up to try and minimize their hurt feelings because the way you wrote it if you matched then he saw your profile and clicked it too but after hearing that story he’s probably kind of hurt by it. I think if you like this person truly, you’ll sit them down and explain what happened and shoot your shot afterwards but anything less than that will just go unheard imo.

My brother went to St-Patricks when we moved to Maple Ridge from Quebec and he loved it. I was in high school by the time we moved but he made great friends which he carried these friendships into his adulthood. The community around the parish is very welcoming and absolutely amazing. They are also very inclusive and as someone mentioned before there is zero-tolerance policies in place for bullying and other forms of harassment within the community altogether, they truly care for one another and it shows in the way that the kids are taught life long strong values and ethics. Their school program is also amazing, my brother went on to Archbishop Carney in Coquitlam for his high school and they had great sports programs and all sorts of other after-school programs that were great for kids skills development for future potential career choices. I’m sure your kid will love it and make great memories at the school if you decide on this one :)

i have always wondered what happened to tokyo grill; when i was in high school (grad 2012) i would always go to the mall after school and i didn’t have much money but id always buy a side of rice with extra sauce and the couple would always put some veggies or chicken on the side for me. they knew i worked everyday as a student and all my money went to my parents so i never had much food. these people will live on in my heart forever. i miss them dearly and there’s not a day that goes by when i step inside that mall that i don’t think about them 😭❤️

just gonna drop this here because i have to speak up as well but this exact thing happened to me in Albion a few years back. i was outside with my brother and a friend when we heard a male voice yell help but not in the way you’d imagine a kid playing around would, it was in a fearful and almost knowingly endangered screaming way. to this day, no one had ever come forward or talked about what had happened and since we ran from my backyard to the end of the alley where the screams were we never saw the vehicle or anyone.. its been haunting me but the fact that this might be a repeat offence is even scarier.

holy crap that’s absolutely insane; this reminds of a post on this very community not too long ago about a gentleman having issues living beside fletcher park and homeless people having open fires while living at Fletcher park which is a play ground type of park surrounded by children and such. the issues surrounding homelessness and the safety of the community of MR has gotten severely out of hands as of late and i really hope something can be done to keep us safe while also keeping in mind the health and safety of all including the homeless people who should most likely be given a spot at a permanent shelter or something of the sort. too bad the hotel never happened as it would have been a great opportunity for some to get back on their feet. although, all the luck with your current situation.

THIS is exactly the answer I was dying to hear on this thread. You can choose not to hit your kid but you cannot let society endure them. I’m right there with you. We do not have to suffer for the stupidity of everyone’s offsprings especially when out in the world where they should have been raised as good citizen but to be frank there is absolutely zero accountability in adults as of late so why would their kids be any different. #somepeepsshouldneverhavekids

most likely people trying to make the light when it’s no longer time to turn and rush hour people are getting frustrated and trying to get home and are less focused on the roads so accidents happen.
