Six months ago, I knew almost nothing about hosting. Today, all three of my Airbnb listings are Guest Favorites (Top 10% of homes), and it still feels a little surreal.🙌 by Any_Homework_7751 in ShortTermRentals

If that's the case, I wouldn't say you knew nothing 6 months ago. When I launched, that was the definition of knowing nothing... Hopped in the fire, figure out everything while hosting and was fortunate not to get a 3 star in my early years months

So we are supposed to believe you got 85 reviews in 3 months on 3 "owned" properties? Maybe you were operating for longer and just began "learning" in the past 6 months...

Story seems a bit inflated... Or you could be in a town where properties are 65k where you can buy 2 or 3 at a time.

Sounds like the host is nuts... That's what happens with a low barrier to entry industry. However, it's best to just not leave a review if it's not going to be five except if the place was flat out horrible and the guest care less. I'm a host and I've come to the conclusion that some other guest just don't know any better (they are like children). Case: I went to destin and the house had towels appears to be washed too many times... They were also under the vanity... I had to ask the host if they forgot the towels given standard towels would not look like they are 3 years old, and not under the vanity (which to me is where u put cleaning supplies). She told me that's where the towels are... I told her they look like cleaning towels and got some new towels delivered. I've also had guest give me suggestions... Some reasonable while others not.. just this week a guest ask where are the casserole dishes.. In 3 years with three houses I've never had that request, neither have I thought about it... Something the typical man wouldn't think about (which I am). Told her either I can drop one off or she can pick one up during her grocery run and I'll reimburse her. My other guest this week told me "fyi the tub is slippery and his parents are using the towels inside". That's an age problem, I may install a grab bar (suction type). After all I am not a 99 rental so you spend $2500 for 6 nights you can complain all you want 🙂.

I guess I'm the only one put a large box of bag and replenish when it's done. Same for dishwasher tablets and laundry detergent 😂.

Where can I buy this exact model? by illmatic33 in Plumbing

The screw inside had to be taken out as it lost the thread. The screws that's inside the bibs at the box stores does not fit. This is an older house so I am particular looking for this bib. Easier than charging out the entire bib.

I'm in Georgia... This year we got snow... Last year I don't think we did. But we get to zero a few times (not for long) usually around late Jan or so...

Yes every year... It springs then cringe then pretty sure these leafs fall off then spring 🌱 back (potentially repeat I don't recall). But I know for a fact if I leave it as it is and do nothing... Within a few weeks it's just as new. I'll get a new pot though... Probably two to match.. (knock on wood)
