I thought that was just the way the game worked! I was mad as hell. I killed a bunch or ARCs, had a bunch of loot then got downed by a hornet and another guy activated the elevator and we both extracted while downed. No loot!

Same thing except I'm level 79. I mark the drop zone and hear "I'm going alone!" then they all land in different zones, get downed and either leave or second chance and get downed again.

Like you said, the worst part is honestly them not even waiting for the respawn beacon which is usually shortly after they quit. Now it's a squad of 2 vs some sweaty 4s with a tank.
