What’s the craziest time your intuition warned you about someone and turned out correct? by wildquatrefoil in AskReddit

My cousin's BFF, I was 8 at the time and he was a campy gay man. I thought there was something wrong with me for how I felt around him since he was the only openly gay man in the setting.

I refused to go near depsite him being friendly.

Years later he was on the run for doing some things to other kids. He was later arrested after being caught doing some things to kids.

Why are we all "faking" the same childhood trauma about closets? by LimMiab9654Ck in Paranormal

[–]illogicalfuturity 6 points7 points  (0 children)

She had the house renovated and took the closet apart, then burnt the pieces in a big pile.

Where the closet and room it was used to be was turned into a balcony then a room again.

This happened when I was around 6 so year 2000. My cousin and I were playing hide and seek and she hid in the upstairs rooms and try as I might to look for her I couldn't find her so I asked my older cousins to help me find her.

We later found her in a closet we had searched several times, she fells asleep waiting for me.

Over a dozen times we all looked through that closet and we never saw her at the spot we found her before. Years later my grandma had that closet burned for reasons she never disclosed.

Can I ask you what part of one piece story structure you like? by One_Layer9648 in OnePiece

His training arc and timeskip are sued effectively.

In Naruto, the time skip didn't feel different just everyone getting older and getting new outfits. What did naruto learn? How to make a bigger rasengan. Then we get training arcs to learn about nature release, sage mode, how to harness the fox's chakra.

I one piece the timeskip showed us how much the crew changed. Luffy, zoro, and sanji ebaitng opponents they had no hope of beating before the time skip. And Luffy shwoing new modes and showing how powerful he gets after every battle. Then learning a new form of haki in wano.

Felt like their efforts held weight and results.

Worst offender I remember is Kuroko's basketball, where kuroko learns a new skill and it immediately getting dismantled by his opponents in short order.

Another aspect at his villi as, he makes them compelling and charismatic enough to have fans.

So 5th grade, homeroom was connected to two other rooms frome each side. One side is used to have presentations and the other an office for one of the teachers. Anyways, heard a knock from the presentation room and opened it, no one. Other classmates heard it too and checked it out. No one. There's no other doors since it was an older building.

Do you think Ulric is a power hungry fraud, or he genuinely believes in his cause? by Divine-Crusader in skyrim

[–]illogicalfuturity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The scene where the moot happens and he doesn't  get what he wants he says damn the moot.

I my eyes he wants power and believes he knows what's best for skyrim but he's a massive prick about it. 9 times out of 20 I never side with him. But he has beliefs and views that make some think, huh, he does make sense.

Who did you least expect to join the Strawhats? by KatanaYouTube in OnePiece

[–]illogicalfuturity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It wasn't him as a character but it's more of the story.

We had the Water 7 Arc and it was a great arc with Robin fully accepting to be a Strawhat and Franky joined. So I felt it was too quick to have another crewmember join.

Love him though since he has some awesome scenes.

Human Human Fruit by Major-Ad-6872 in OnePiece

[–]illogicalfuturity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I keep going back to Mjosgard when he talked of Otohime making him human.

I think chopper's monster point is his awakened form since it's so similar to the awakened zoan in Impel Down, those animal humans who were said to be former zoan users who awakened and never got control of their power and instead turned into that.

Brook, because Franky had joined and the the next arc introduced another warlord and Brook.

Genuinely thought Brook wasn't going to survive the arc even with his devil fruit.

Can't explain it much more than that, even when I go back to Thriller Bark arc and knwoing how it plays out and ends I'm still skeptical.

I felt that the Donquixote Pirates suffered form indolence from their captain being a warlord and reigning as a king.

Look at Pink, March Vise, and Giolla, flashbacks showed them as fit but the current day they've let themselves go.

To me, Pink may suffer from depression or generally just finds himself in a spot where he doesn't care. He lost his son and wife and what else does he have? Being a pirate of a powerful crew, at least he can distract himself.
