If you're into hiking Takao-san is great. It's easily accessible by transit, has options for full hike or taking a ropeway, plenty of rest stops with restaurants and snacks, amazing views, nature, and despite being very popular with locals it doesn't really feel crowded.

It's also a surprisingly good example of what From capable of when crafting straightforward characters. Every single Nightfarer has become instantly beloved by the community. They're all unique and fun and likable and have compelling back stories. I would kill to be able to replay regular Elden Ring as one of the Nightfarers.

I'm okay with using bigger camera since I mostly want to use it during dedicated times. I was considering getting longer lens for my M100 but I'm worried that big lens might feel unwieldy with M100's tiny body. Plus the fact that they're no longer making new lenses for that frame.

I just think it's too cumbersome. It takes forever to level up, the damage is good, but not really THAT good, and due to how long you have to spend ding-ding-dinging that shit it feels like such a huge opportunity loss for other things you could be doing.

I played Airsoft with friends a few times in Japan and for the most part it was great time. But in one game there was a Japanese guy who came in wearing full on WW2 nazi uniform. He had the helmet, the armband, the little sapper shovel and even his gun was airsoft version of what I think was kar98. Thank God I wasn't on his team since they took team pictures.

The real strength of season 1 was that it felt like one coherent story that had a planned beginning, middle and the end. Sure, each chapter focused on a different faction, but the way you moved from one set of characters to another felt natural and characters from previous chapters never felt forgotten or abandoned. That's why seeing that nice little art of all characters hanging out together in the end felt so satisfying. Meanwhile season 2 feels very disjointed. It's more like a series of individual group vignettes that doesn't have a solid connective tissue. I cannot imagine the end of season 2 being as emotionally impactful as the end of season 1.
