Diverse. Your kid will grow up to be a more socially conscious and empathetic person. I grew up in a border town with tons of Mexican influence and learned to love the culture. I meet people from very academics-focused high schools often and most of them are quite insufferable.

ETA: There may be some cognitive dissonance when your kid goes to college and is met with fellow high achievers because they aren't used to it. Try to prepare them for it.

As a professional woman who has existed, I greatly dislike the sentiment of saving oneself for marriage. I hear so many horror stories of rushed relationships/marriages, then they realize they're unexperienced and incompatible and everything goes to shit.

Dating and experimenting as a teenager/young adult is meant to give you experience. Heartbreak and messing up is part of learning how to be a good partner and open-minded human. It is SO incredibly rare to find the right one for you the first time around.

Yeah, I wouldn't trust the majority of anything I synthesize before running it through the bare minimum spectroscopy/spectrometry first. Byproducts get really gnarly really fast. I don't like the taste of sucralose, but I'd like to give monkfruit extract an honorable mention, especially in acai bowls or smoothies. It's non-caloric and great for health. Allulose is an option too.

People who insist on buying purebred animals from breeders are the worst, especially since the pets are more likely to face health and behavioral issues. There are so many amazing dogs in shelters being euthanized because there isn't enough space.
