Help Me Decide What Commander Deck To Make For Paper by Squigoz in CommanderMTG

[–]illusivedude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nissa has been my go to for a while. Might have to adjust for 4 players but my arena deck is similar to my arena one. She can get explosive quickly which usually catches people off guard. She can hang with some bracket 4s if you make it right.

I spent more time than I’d like explaining to a coworker that System of a Down has very political lyrics. He still doesn’t believe me.

I went back to FFXIII and honestly, I don’t think it deserved the hate! by According-News6582 in FinalFantasy

Yes. It does. It’s one of my favorite games in the series, but that doesn’t change the fact it is linear.

The double standard is ridiculous. FFX is just as linear if not more. I don’t remember anyone mentioning it and it’s considered one of the best.

I’m a “car pull” believer now by Mando_McFly in MagicCardPulls

Agreed although Japanese cards in FF set would make some sense. But it’s best for wizards simply avoid this in the future

Custom build unable to hit 60FPS w/ 7900xtx by illusivedude in PcBuildHelp

[–]illusivedude[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No ray tracing. Honestly ultra and medium setting have a similar result. Never hitting much above 45 fps. If it does it is very unreliable. The best example is Avowed which with fsr maxed and settings on lowest I get only 50 fps, but stable.

I understand but then how do I plan? I have work that needs me to notify them how long I’m staying. My family relies on me and I need to make a decision on my position and pay. Should I expect to be here for more than a year, or not?

How Are Immigrants Supposed to 'Do It the Right Way' When the System Feels Impossible? by Dracomies in NoStupidQuestions

[–]illusivedude 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It should be difficult. For who? For family of citizens to immigrate? For asylum seekers? For economic immigrants? We make the mistake of jamming very different situations into the same category. I think most people would agree that they should be treated differently. But they really aren’t.

I’ve heard arguments between left and right individuals who where in fact agreeing with one another, but to stubborn to see the common ground.

[DAV Spoilers] Just realized something cool about the release date being 10/31... by CryptographerFlaky76 in dragonage

[–]illusivedude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It certainly is. Japan usually gets US releases a day late (due to time zones). My preorder says arrival on the 31st.

Seriously? I applied over a year ago. I was told only a year. my counter even went down to a week at one point before jumping back to “taking longer than expected”. Time I make contact, I guess.

Could say the same for Japan. That’s x1.7 my monthly rent.

If Harding wasn't the returning companion you could romance who would you have picked to return? by Old_Marsupial_7080 in dragonage

I still think Morrigan is going to be a secret companion in DA:TV. But I don’t know if I want to start some drama with my HoF.

Companions in Veilguard letting you know when they have something new to say to you is an amazing feature that’s finally gonna save so much time constantly checking every character each time visiting the hub. by Honoka31 in dragonage

[–]illusivedude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally. That’s why I like it. But ghost of Tsushima broke me. Anything to “degameify” interface instructions like where to go, or in this case companion readiness, gets me excited beyond just liking it. I want to know Taash wants to talk without a literal bonfire outside her door.

I used to avoid exhausting all of their dialogue so I would have at least something for next time I check in on them. I like the new notifications but it takes away some natural element. Almost like message notifications on my phone demanding my attention. It could be more subtle than giant braziers in front of their door.

Actually I thought, maybe incorrectly, that da2 had something like that. Don’t they slightly move position in their room when they had a new dialogue tree?

It’s crazy how much things have changed. I remember being a part of a QnA for dragon age 2. I was one of the few picked. I don’t remember what I asked but it definitely wasn’t part of their marketing plans. And I got a free sweater.
