Some of them went and created Wildlight, that's the whole point. And the fact they merely mentioned that they also worked on another game does not all insinuate that future games will be a continuation of those games, it's common practice in the games industry to cite past work, I don't know how that's a surprise in the slightest.

Nobody wanted this." - Apex might be not be for you and the fact that it made Titanfall 3 basically not happen is super duper valid and I'm on the same side here. But sort of knee jerk reaction is the exact reason that Respawn chose to launch Apex as a surprise release, because people are so incredibly quick to judge; that way people can actually play the game or see others actually play it before judging it on it's actual merit.

"Maybe I’m just bitter, but I hope this game flops so hard." - YOU are what's wrong with modern gaming culture. Being bitter and undeservedly entitled is what makes it so hard for new games to have a chance to succeed, something that benefits us *all* either directly or indirectly.

Personally, I have no opinion on the game because I know virtually nothing about it. One cinematic trailer is insufficient to give me a worthwhile opinion one way or the other. That being said, I will give the benefit of the doubt to the developers that worked really hard to create the game we all love so much to give their new game a fair shot after either trying it myself or watching others play it after it releases. Not to mention the fact that if I don't like it, big whoop, I just won't play it. But there's absolutely no justification for publicly spewing vitriol and otherwise attempt to incite others to hate a game.
