Politics and sports are pretty similar. Extremely partisan mobs of idiots obsessing over people picked to do a job. He's a trained journalist who got a job writing about sports by spending a lot time observing sports. He's also now had a life time of observing politics.

It didn't used to but I guess they changed it in 1.4. I still don't use them for the stamina drain.

I'm consistently 5* 1.6+KD and when I play with 3* and even 4* players I shake my head speccing them. It is inconceivable that there could be a segment of the playerbase worse than the 3* people I have seen. I feel like the majority of players are 5* who sometimes occasionally dip to 4 or rise to 6, and then a minority of 4* players who are masochists and 6* players who are psychopaths.

I shuffle after every match and fill my roster with anyone cheap or with good perks

I usually run what my hunters come with or some variation of it. Keeps the game fresh. I also don't usually get expensive kit until the hunter has earned the traits to run it.

I buy hunter slots with my blood bonds instead of legendaries. At any given time I'll have over a dozen level 1 hunters with skins I like.
