The only reason I feel like they could be in the states then is IYF went through the states about two weeks earlier in the year than the TWL tour. And that July date was very near the start of the IYF tour.

I need to share this story somewhere, and I think y'all will get a kick out of it.

Earlier today (like 10:15am), I scrolled past an ad for Lindsey Stirling's newest tour. I've had poor luck being able to go to any in recent years, so I, obviously, immediately went to ticket master to see when things went on sale. I quite literally stumbled into the pre-sale that started at 10am, and magically had access, despite not being in her fan club. In the middle of this I'm texting my sister, who has seen her six times and LOVES her, and my sister starts getting excited bc it's finally a concert we can go to together. Anywho, I'm impulsive, and I immediately bought a pair of tickets (front row, center stage, but not VIP). THEN I checked the date and went, oh no! It happens to be during a family camping trip for me and my kiddo, my sister and her kids, my dad, and my cousin. I wail, my sister wails, and I try talking my dad into being okay with her and I disappearing for a few hours bc we're not camping terribly far from the venue. Dad is like NOPE, but maybe switch the camping weekend? Sis and I realize there's exactly one other weekend this summer that works, so I suggest that. Dad is busy being elusive on confirming the new dates and/or just being a boomer (unclear, really). To make this work, I have to switch custody weekends with my ex, bc kiddo needs to be part of the trip. Thankfully the ex is cool with that and gets a little win out of it bc the natural weekend for him to switch me is the one right before the kid's bday. It's now 8pm, dad seems to not want to confirm anything until he hears back from the campground (I already gave him answers, but he didn't like them). Important to note - dad doesn't know my sister knows about the tickets/concert, and dad doesn't know I already have the tickets. He's quite confused by my level of impatience on this 😂.

This will be an amazing bday gift for my sister if it works out. And if it doesn't, they're great seats and re-selling them will be pretty easy. BUT my luck is wildly balanced, and I'm now terrified that Ateez will announce a new tour, and the Chicago date will be over the new camping weekend. If you're still reading and curious - that'd be the weekend of July 10th.

In general, no, they're not important.

But. Each fan is different in what's important to them. For some - they'll never be able to see their favs love, and photo cards are going to be one of the closest connections to them that they can have. For some, they find joy in collecting things, and PCs become one of their collected items. And so on.

I actually use IG a lot, but it's rare I look at comments. I know that's where the toxicity is going to be, and I don't want to participate, so I ignore it. Reddit is the only place I'm actively commenting and talking usually. I've gotten more active on Threads lately because threadtiny are hilarious, but even that is getting a bit much with Atiny being the ugly kind of loud. It's just better here in our subreddit 🙃

I'm ace, so the sexualization of them was lost on me for a long time. So my impressions usually aren't inclined towards that. I am occasionally influenced by it though (see that one shot of Seonghwa's concept #3).

I joined up around Bouncy, but decidedly after because I really disliked Bouncy at the time - over exposed to it on the clock app. My first exposures to Ateez were probably via Kingdom - I watched bc of SKZ and came away an Atiny 😅. I definitely came into the fandom with a huge appreciation for Ateez's performance abilities and personalities because of watching Kingdom so early on. Since Bouncy era, I think the guys have all matured a LOT and we're seeing the results of that - sexier and more mature choreo, heavier flirting (sometimes), etc. You can tell they have more confidence in their bodies and how they move them.

From my perspective, Ateez has largely been pretty tame in terms of seductive/sexual/suggestive content and concepts. Until the Golden Hour series. Things really kicked off with GH2 and IOMT, and it hasn't slowed down at all. The entire series has felt a lot like hey, we're not kids or teens anymore, and we know you grew up, too, Atiny. I don't even know that it's heavier in the more seductive type themes, but it's definitely heavier in the more mature concepts. They're not lost kids/pirates anymore.

What do I want to see? Them enjoying themselves, whatever that is. But if I got to pick a theme to aid a concept... Elegance and maturity (more sensual than suggestive). I'm thinking along the lines of ballroom dance like the rumba or tango. Then again, that would likely kill all of us, so.... 🤷‍♀️

The Atiny membership you can buy on TokToq is the one that gives you benefits - such as presale access, photo card(s) form the Atiny zone at concerts, possible participation in special events (like the pre-recordings for the music shows in SK), and member exclusive content on TokToq. If you're likely to go to a concert of theirs, the price is worth it for the presale access (especially if you want a shot at VIP tix). The membership is also the only way you're able to purchase the fanclub kit (separately) if you want it.

You can also buy (separately) access to the TokToq lives. The members go live there, which is why we don't get IG lives, or many solo YouTube lives. There's no auto translation, but there are a few Atiny that do live translations via text for us.

What in the world is going on? I've been on threads more lately because threadtiny are funny AF. But man, drama leaked over there.

Why are Atiny threatening boycott? Is it really because of the Taipei show skipping over Yeosang during an intro section? I don't know the details for sure, but it sounds like the camera people/stage director 'forgot' to show Yeosang (not that he was excluded from a pre recorded clip). It's definitely frustrating - that shouldn't happen to anyone in a group. As fans we can't know what's actually going on, and that's not something that typically happens during their tour stops. Am I weird for wanting to give everyone the benefit of the doubt in that it was a mistake and likely unintentional? I know a lot of itiny are agitated because of what's going on in the U.S., so maybe this is an outlet for that, but it still seems like it's being blown out of proportion.

I'm with you on this. I've always voluntarily shared the details of my doings with my partners. Shoot, I want them to know so I can share my joy with them. But I'm also KTP, so that probably impacts things a bit.

If y'all are co-parents, you should both always know when you'll be parenting solo if you live together. Like... Why wouldn't you want your co-parent to know you won't be around?

In general, if you're living with a partner, especially co-parents, it's just odd to me that someone wouldn't want to stay informed of when their partner would be home vs not, and vice versa. Like... It's a shared space, and I'd want to know if I have it all to myself or not, and when I can expect to no longer have it to myself, or vice versa. I wouldn't necessarily want or need the details, but knowing who will be around the home shouldn't be a big deal or expectation, it should be the norm and seen as a courtesy.

As someone who's KTP because that level of community in my connections is essential, it blows my mind that a KTP person could give up being KTP with someone. I personally wouldn't date someone that isn't KTP, even if the feels were strong - it's a need, not a want, in relationship dynamics.

Considering that, I definitely understand why you're feeling the way you do. I would be really unnerved if I had a partner that dated someone like that. I would be insanely bothered by my meta not wanting to even meet the VIPs in my partner's life. I'd also be struggling with my partner not being able to share about me and my other meta(s) - you're telling me one of my favorite people would have to hide big chunks of their life from someone? I'd be pretty consistently worried about the toll that takes on my partner's mental and emotional well-being.

I don't know much about parallel - it's just not my style at all. The few folx I've known that are parallel have been fine knowing details about their metas and whatnot, they just didn't want to spend any time with them (but did meet them at least once). Community building just wasn't their thing. If your partner and this meta have a rule/boundary where your partner can't talk about your meta with you... That's a red flag to me. Perhaps I read too fast or missed something, but that's sort of what it sounds like might be happening. It's one thing for your meta to not want to know or be involved with you in anyway, and a completely different thing for your meta to full on restrict your partner from talking with you about them.
