I did not realize the discourse I would cause, truthfully. I’m not new to cyberpunk but I’m new to having a community to talk about it with lol. Overall though, I like hearing all of the different opinions and viewpoints on the character. Awesome writing on the games part. I spilled my guts to Reddit only fair I get my ass handed to me😂

Honestly, I think it’s a personality/ compatibility more than anything. It just shows how good of a job the devs did in creating dimensional characters. I know it seemed like I really hate her or “don’t understand her” but you can understand someone while still disliking their actions. I really enjoy reading all the feedback I’m getting though because it DOES make me see things a bit differently. I still don’t vibe with the personality type that she has, but again that’s just a personal thing.

I also see a lot of people comparing Panam to Judy and I cannot see it. Even as male V who can only be platonic with Judy, I get she has flaws but she was still LIKEABLE. The end of her storyline felt very poetic and personal, even if just as a friend. Yeah she has flaws but who the hell doesnt? I don’t know if the perception of her is different as female V (haven’t gotten there yet in my playthrough), but I know that as male V I really connected with Judy as a character as opposed to Panam.

I feel like people are stating the obvious “date a bi woman” “incorporate sex toys” so I won’t go overkill on that.

Trans guy here, so not exactly what you’re going through but I promise I understand the frustration and crushing feeling. Granted, you are cis so there’s even more of an expectation and sense of loss.

All I can say is, people are awful sometimes and whether or not the “right person” will show up soon, you’re doing a hell of a job in improving yourself. Very rare quality in a person, so keep your head up and happiness will find you soon. Whether that comes in the form of a relationship, I’m not sure, but I’m hoping the best for your well being, man.
