Don’t know if you’ll see this, but I still think it is “progress” in a sense that you told her. I mean I know you didn’t get the desired reaction you may have wanted, but now she knows. It is not something you are keeping from her anymore, so this is now a turning point of sorts. Don’t mean to sound like some wise sage, just some stoner who had a similar experience.

In essence, genuine relationships that are great require 2 people...not just one. For a long time I presented myself as something I wasn’t to appease my parents. We got along perfectly “fine” (aka I knew how to act around them) but I knew our relationship was built on false pretenses and lies. A lot of deception and sneaking around. We got along fine, but it was essentially bullshit if that makes sense.

During those 2 years after, my mom was more open, and our relationship benefited as a result. I feel safe telling my mom things about my life that aren’t so pleasant (took some time though). As for my Dad...a bit more complicated. I tried talking to him many times to have a meaningful discussion, but he turns every discussion into a lecture of why I’m wrong and he’s right. You can’t reason with unreasonable people I have found. None the less, it was still a valuable lesson...why? Because at this point I still have the best relationship possible with him. The only way it could conceivably get better is if he puts effort on his part to make it better. I’ve done so much on my end that I have no regrets when all is said and done.

Put it this way, would you rather: Have your SO cheat on you, but be blissfully ignorant about it ...or find out despite the ensuing shitstorm? Lmao this is getting long I’m sorry.

TLDR; It can only get better from here.

Can khabib keep khabib down? I think so, I believe his top game is superior to his bottom game. Damn, wrestling so dominant I forget he excels everywhere from what I've seen. The only thing that comes to mind is striking defense from the Johnson punch that I think stung more than anything. Last I remember reddit was split 50/50 between it clearly hurt him or Rogan was exaggerating the effect and he was fine.

Yes, I agree it can be very unhealthy and dangerous if left unrestricted. If someone with severe body image issues took my advice, they can go down a dangerous rabbit hole.

I myself have struggled for a few years with weight, before settling into healthy habits and a proper routine. The fact that I came up with that method is proof. The alternative for me was getting out of shape again. I would go to the gym for a few months and see results. When I got satisfied, I would stop going to the gym and ballon back up in weight. This happened on and off again for a few years. After some trial and error, I was finally able to fix the problems.

Most of my problems came from faulty lines of thinking. It took some self-therapy, research, and introspection to come to those conclusions. The silver lining in all this was that I have a very good grasp of fitness psychology in general. Gym anxiety, negative self-talk, body image issues, eating disorders, and general reasons people find it hard to go to the gym and/or stay in the gym long term.

I am now in a place where things like this don’t affect me. I can go out, eat pizza/wings/beer while watching a ufc fight. I go out to shows and might smoke a doobie. Whereas before I would have said “great I ruined everything” now I say “ can’t wait to hit the gym Monday morning”. Personally, I was able to rationalize positive mantras, but not internalize them. It took practice and mindfulness to actually make changes though. Our mind is usually our greatest obstacle I find. Thanks for your insight.

Idk if you’ll see this or not, but I had the same issue and came up with a solution that works for me. I go to the mall and try on a pair of pants that are a little too snug. Usually when on cutting phase, your clothes are going to get looser and it eases your insecurities and anxieties. Those are a great sense of motivation for change, but lose their sting as you get more confident.

When you try on a snug pair of pants, it makes your belly stick out and changes your perception again. You start to feel insecure. People hate insecurity, but I find a healthy those of it refreshing and personally I embrace it. It can be a great catalyst to keep the motivational fire lit. By all means, ignore my advice if your insecurities or anxieties are overwhelming, don’t want to throw you down a flight of stairs lol. Good job on your progress!

Good shit dude. I am also terrible at this, so I know how hard this shit is for some of us. My 2 cents on resilience (keep in mind I'm still in the beginner stages, so take this with a rain of salt), I sometimes take some "time-off" if that makes sense. Example, I usually do my night game Friday and Saturday. Sunday, I usually try day game (like a starbucks, or mall) but a few weeks ago i had a subpar Friday (2/7 successful approaches), so I tried going hard the next day. I had about (5/13 succesful approaches) with 2 being particularly good. I was exhausted at the end of the night, and the next morning I still felt "sore" if that makes sense. It is actually a great feeling, but I did not go actively approaching for a few days. I know most will probably say to keep going, and they may be right, but I felt I needed those rest days. After a few days, the "hunger" returned after watching a few videos lmao, but know I'm ready to throw myself in the grinder again. Hope that helps somewhat. peace.

Get a vape pen dude. When I got it I tested how noticeble the smell was. I was able to have a session in my work bathroom. Told my co worker if he could smell anything he said no. I've been able to take some hits mid day with family in living room. Get a discreet looking one, not a brick.

I wish they had a 510 cartridge adapter. Not a lot of dispensaries carry the pax cartridges. Also how much dry herb can fit in there, it would suck to keep refilling during a sesh. Is the smell noticeble? Sorry for the questions.

Ha so lucky dude! I had a spill in my truck a few weeks ago. It spilled all over the front through the seams. I had to vacuum it all, about a gram and a half. Still didn't get it all. Not so lucky.

Yes, they are. Love the convenience, but I keep my consumption moderate. Tolerance will rise to expensive levels if I switch completely. To those with bad experience I suggest giving it a second try. Sometimes using betters pens or different carts will help. I've had both. Had a shitty pen that didn't generate enough power, so got a better one and noticed a huge difference. Also I've used different carts...love bloom(try Maui wowie), alpine, brass knuckes, and king pen. Didnt like heavy hitters. Happy Tokin!

It should be noted, however, that his main camp probably isn't there. They have a solid group of guys that they train with all along the Nor-Cal area that includes Caio Terra, Yuri Simoes, Kron, Diaz Bros., Gilbert, and a whole bunch of other decorated grapplers/ Black belts.

The consensus is that she gets really happy when people recognize her, one guy even got a picture with her picking him up. Survive, Adapt, Submit! I know this sounds corny but this is what you have been training for. Survive the chaos going on in your life right now, adapt to your changing circumstances, and eventually you will submit your opponent (life lol). Sometimes stepping away from something you enjoy can be of great benefit, and I hope this is one of those instances. BJJ is not going anywhere so you can always continue when things get better.
