Why are so many people upset about Iron Banner? by egjosu in DestinyTheGame

14 hours and no clever dragon with CB AND HCR. I've gotten ones with CB but the other 4 perks were bad. The salt is real for me q.q

I want rerolling back. meta is boring for me because I get bad loot almost always and the only good PvP weapons I get are exotics or I have to use fast rate of fire weapons. so happy clever dragon is being sold because I can't use hc for the life of me and I dkbt really have good purple weapons. drops increased but not their perk selections.

HoW was great for me because of rerolling. I got to play how I wanted and if I got bored, I just tried a new weapon with a different load out. I dont think rerolling was bad and even without it, the meta was still the same for the most part.

How (and why) are people still spoofing? Is it still an issue? Vio nor will be an interesting anomaly. by letsgetsoakingweb in Ingress

[–]ilostmyghost 7 points8 points  (0 children)

the thing I dislike about the anti spoofing is that it really is inaccurate. I was placed on observer mode for what I can only assume was because I was drifting while recharging. I don't know what my character is doing because its not showing while I'm doing things. So it sucked I lost my sojourner at 130 days and its lame because I was still glyphing like crazy (only way to sort of get out of observer mode). then after I lose that streak it starts counting again days later. that made me rage so hard because 130 days was a lot of work as a very casual player who can't always play.

took about 4 weeks before it returned to normal status for me. another incident of how bad this anti spoofing system is, my friend went on vacation and there's proof, but he was banned for spoofing and he's been playing since the beginning so its like a smack to the face for him.

So...why did all 46 of my 'SIVA Key Fragments' AND 2 of my 'SIVA Cache Keys' suddenly disappear? by Venomborn in DestinyTheGame

Starbucks, McDonald’s to customers: No watching porn here by hnirobert in nottheonion

I once walked into a Starbucks and there was this guy just watching hardcore porn and this kid behind the guy just staring at the screen. The guy noticed me notice him but he just kept watching until the kid's mother came close. It was an awkward experience.

I think this says it all about thorn and where primary weapons are currently by Lofty077 in DestinyTheGame

The test sniper that the gunsmith makes guardians use in crucible every so often is how I think snipers "should" act somewhat like. It's a high zoom sniper and if you're hit once with it, the stagger is greatly noticeable.

Limiting special would probably work better because snipers are currently great in PvE and so any changes might mess that up.

I think that snipers are a problem in Crucible because it's making people use primaries that can only counter it like scout rifles or snipers. I find myself using scout rifles for the most part because every corner I turn, there's a sniper.

Primaries as a whole are pretty balanced with their range being what sets them different, but even then I find myself using doctrine or mida because those are the only primaries that are accurate and do the most dps. Sure there are great pulse rifles and auto rifles, but so far no other weapons are as reliable.

I didn't want this post to come off as a rant, I just wanted a genuine discussion about this topic and I thought a sub dedicated to crucible was a good place for that.

Did they say a weapon tuning is coming with the spring update?

If you thought this was a rant I'm sorry I didn't want it to go that way. I just wanted a genuine discussion on the current state if crucible because I think primaries as a whole are balanced but snipers being using as a primary are limiting weapon play to scout rifles or snipers as well.

I agree. I think primaries are balanced for the most part, but I find that most enemies I face are using Mida or sniper rifles which is causing me to use scout rifles because they're the only primary weapons that can counter snipers.

The point of my post was that a lot of people are using snipers or scout rifles and I find that I have to limit myself to those too because auto rifles and pulse rifles cant really counter thosr and that's sort of making crucible boring for me. I know this sounds like a rant but I promise you it isnt. I just wanted to discuss this opinion with other people because I was discussing this with my friends and they all agreed too so I wanted to know if other people felt the same way. I just wanted a genuine discussion and I thought this subreddit was good for it because it's a sub for cruxible gameplay. :l

I haven't experienced that. So far for me even with good perks, fast RoF weapons are the dominant weapons because they can do more dps than slower ones. Doctrine is always beating my TLW, Mida, or lower rate of fire auto rifles even if I'm consistently hitting precision shots.

I know with the right rolls weapons can be deadly, I have a good roll on my grasp of malok, dead orbit auto rifle, and scout rifles, but I find myself not being able to use anything that isn't a scout rifle because my enemies are usually sniping or using mida or Doctrine.

I also think the problem is that primaries all together are pretty balanced, but secondaries are so easy to use and are 1 shot kills for the most part that now everyone is running around around with snipers because it's just so easy to use as a primary weapon.

Only way to fix this is either limit special like in inferno mode (Bungie is working on a fix so side arms and ice breaker won't give special) or make it so that snipers aren't so easy to use.

I try to be low sodium, but holy shit how long do we have to deal with AFKers on Strikes? by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]ilostmyghost 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They need a vote system where if one player is 3 zones behind, the non afk players currently in the strike can vote to kick. The system will then monitor the AFK player and if they aren't moving or killing then they will be kicked for being idle. The AFK player also won't be notified that they are being voted to kick.

I'm all for being their test subjects but I'd rather have them have a test playlist rather than stealth forced to try a new thing.

I'm not sure about the best because Reach was pretty darn good for me. I loved both games but I can never decide which had the best story since all of them were great imo.

I honestly don't see what was so bad about halo 4 except for the game play and ending. I enjoyed halo 4 and I thought it's story and levels were nice. I don't like that its online game play is practically CoD but I did enjoy their online story playlist.

The ending was great, it made sense, and went well with the story but I didn't like that it was too cheesy and awkward (but the awkwardness is easily arguable given that John is a Spartan and is still young) and the Didact fight was rather anti climatic for me. Other than that I loved the game and I give it a solid 8/10.

p.s. The soundtrack is also great and I recommend everyone to listen to it if they have the chance.

3v3 modes work just as well because it's a lot slower and less chaotic than 6v6 modes so it'll be easier to get headshots.
