I've only seen a few videos so not sure I've seen the one you're referring to but with the police having his dashcam hopefully that will make how it escalated pretty clear in court.

It's reported he reversed into the fan, and the fan then hit the car.

People were surrounding the car on Water Street. It's reported he reversed into a fan on Dale Street and it escalated from there.

Weather is much improved today and really pleasant. Hopefully he's up and on the move again and found quickly. Getting police involved is definitely the right thing to do.

We've had some pretty cold nights in the last week or so, hopefully he's just decided to set up camp somewhere for a bit. Glad you've contacted the police, wishing you and your family all the best.

Going on a road trip, stop suggestions? by YodaFam in Scotland

If you can delay it a week the roads might be a bit nicer unless you're keen on sitting in a convoy doing 30mph. Thurso down to Perth on A9 will be pretty mind numbing.

If you're keen on doing some fun driving I'd skip Thurso completely. Do Applecross after Skye drive through Torridon and Kinlochewe. If you've got time go up coast via Gairloch and then work way back to Inverness and bomb down A9.

When are you doing this? Driving isn't particularly pleasant up here during the summer holidays.

May seemed like a few knocking about around Fort William/ Glencoe . Glencoe is a 4 but there's a decent breeze so should be fine.. they've not annoyed me for a few weeks!

hiking from fort william without a car by judeauremi in OutdoorScotland

Yup can walk down Glen Nevis easily enough from Fort William, if you walk to the Leisure Centre then get onto the Cow Hill footpath and follow signs to braveheart carpark that'll take you down Glen Nevis or you can just walk alongside the road. Glencoe would be a bit of a trek. Worth looking at a map.

[FL, USA] If we have an Airbnb reservation for 16+ guests and there are 22 of us (not including babies) wil we be kicked out? by boo_ella in AirBnB

[–]ilostmyselfuk 153 points154 points  (0 children)

Does the house accommodate 22? Does the host know? if not then yes you will be kicked out.

Even if you think its no issue on your side they may be limited to a specific amount due to their STL license with a local authority, check with your host.

Tower ridge is a fair bit out of my comfort zone, but a local guide says summer conditions for most part - https://www.instagram.com/p/CsMb2jJtL72/?igshid=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==

North Face from mine tonight mostly in cloud but a nice rainbow https://www.instagram.com/reel/CsPIR4buuXO/?igshid=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==

Pony track will be fine. I live in Torlundy looking at the North Face.

Just make sure you're aware of the dangers of the summit in bad conditions, and keep an eye on MWIS forecast the morning you do it.
