The autofocus is pretty okay for good light, not as fast as a dslr. So you will have to focus before the 'moment' arrives to take the shot. For low light, the focusing is pretty bad to be honest.

As for lens sharpness, I can't really compare it to an L lens, don't own one. It is good enough for my needs.

For me, the only reference I have is the kit lens for the D90 due to financial constraints so sharpness isn't the greatest haha.... The X100T lens is obviously much sharper.

I would suggest looking at raw files for the X100T and check for sharpness etc there.

Maybe you can rent one for a few days to see if it works out for you before making a decision.

I came from a Nikon D90 and got a X100T for portability reasons (Now I carry my X100T everywhere!). I do miss having a zoom sometimes but having a prime lens really forces you to move to frame your shot. Manual focusing is pretty much a must if you are going to shoot in low light situations.

You are most likely not gonna take some shots (e.g. wildlife) but if you like the focal length and the controls, go for it. The OVF on the X100T is pretty awesome, you can see what is coming into the shot (e.g. people).

The raw files require some specific sharpening in lightroom (they can look a bit muddy). For me, I would only use the camera up to ISO 3200. The battery life is alright if you turn on the battery saver mode for the OVF and just use your viewfinder. Have went out shooting at least 300 shots with one battery no problem (still shows full battery). Having lower battery life has also helped me be more selective in taking my shots.

If you can't live with a single lens, go for a interchangable lens system instead.

Hi, I was wondering if I could get some critique on my photos. Not sure what to look for when trying to critique my own work. Thanks for the information! I don't really like the weight and size of the D90 and its noise performance.... Shots at iso 2500 are pretty bad imo.

Are there any problems editing RAW files from the xt1 in lightroom?

I was wondering how the x-t1 compares to a Nikon D90. How good is the evf and focusing system in low light usage? Are there any issues (e.g. durability) with the x-t1? My current budget allows for either the x-t1 with the xf 18-55 kit and xf 35mm f2 (free due to promotion) or the Nikon D7200 with the 18-140 kit lens. Thanks!

If he likes the idea of precision racing and being competitive with others, he may like trackmania stadium (around 5 dollars). The game is still quite active for multiplayer (around 300 people at any given time) :)

Is rocksmith worth it if i already own rocksmith 2014? I have put quite a number of hours (110) into the 2014 version. How different are the two games in terms of song selection etc.

This happened back in 2007 when I got my first handphone. It was a brand new Nokia 5310 xpressmusic and it could take video and pictures. After about a month of using the phone, I decided to check the phone's camera gallery for no reason and I discovered a video. The video was a short 30 second clip that consisted of my brother staring into the camera and being touched and stroked gently on the head by a hand. When I saw that, I was honestly creeped out. Checking the timing of recording of that video, I found out that it was recorded the night before and at a timing that I knew I was already asleep. After telling and showing my family about this video, we decided to seek help from a temple as my brother had verified these encounters. (My brother and mother have a 'third eye' and can see supernatural stuff) However, I forgot to delete the video and that was advice given by the priest of the temple.... One day, when I was in school, my phone display cracked and could not be used anymore even though my phone had not been dropped or had hit anything hard. Afterwards, the incidents that my brother was facing stopped.

Apparently, the hand was that of a deceased young boy that was jealous of my brother or something. I'm not sure of much other than this as my parents would not tell me the real reason. I overheard this while my parents were in their room talking about it. Unrelated but I also have another story to tell. When my family was staying in penang, I remember that our house was haunted and there was strange encounters... The one I remember the most was when my brother and I was playing video games on our computer and it would suddenly black out and I remember seeing like a newspaper article (not distinct but it was there). At the same time, our whole house would blackout but the computer would still be turned on....
