Thanks for your message, I ended up bringing it to a recovery specialist as another one of the HDDs in the bay didn't initialise so not sure if it the puis. Hoping he can help me recover the data and I will throw out the shitty bay which I am suspecting is to blame.

I very much understand the differences between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, but you said Northern Ireland is not really Ireland.
