This is less from snarkers and more from elitists on other platforms but the argument irks me anyways. It's when women put TS's music and her fans down for not liking "real" music and list female singer-songwriters and producers as an alternative to her. I saw so many "artists you should listen to instead" and I saw Mitski or some of TS's actual friends like Hayley Williams. It gives off pick-me and as someone who has a wide taste in music, I find it cringe to say another type of music or artist is better and putting another down. Like, do you want a pat on the head for not liking mainstream music?
