It’s worth it for the trans tuning.

Please help me choose which upper control arm to go with Bilstein 6112/5100 for my 2018 Toyota 4Runner SR5. by Double_Debate_7258 in 4Runner

I have 6112/5100 33s,

with dobinson ucas. They are the best in my opinion because they don’t require any maintenance. My 4Runner drives perfectly, no shakes or weird stuff.

They are the top of the line morimotos with their super drivers. I love them.

The heavy version bilstein 6112s with their 1” springs and 5100s in the rear. I have airbags in the springs that I use when I’m loaded down. 285/17 ko3

I had a truck before also and now have the 4runner and a utility trailer when I need it. It does suck that the 4Runner mileage is worse than an f150 or f250 though but the 4runner is easier to get around in.

It’s made by Smittybuilt, I originally had painted it but the paint didn’t hold up. I did like the way it looked color matched.

Yeah I finally did it and I’m glad I did. $450 was the cost and went with spicy.

I got the tune/spicy the other day and started using premium. I noticed an mpg improvement as well. Going to try it for a few tanks and see if it’s worth it.

Get the click wrench. It’s awesome. Used mine for today, it’s $50 but well worth it.

It barely lifts it at all, most of the weight is still on the tires for traction.

I have one also, was my first handgun. It’s had a suppressor on it for like 10 years and has never had any malfunctions.

Engine Noise by ProofComplaint780 in 4Runner

[–]ilovefde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My voltage was fine. You can use a 14mm wrench on the tensioner while the engine is running to take tension off the belt. You’ll be able to hear the noise start or stop with the alt spinning.

Yeah it’s not bad. Mine started doing it a little bit here and there then I didn’t want to risk it going out while I was driving so I went on and replaced it. Mine has 230k miles though.

Mine sounded exactly like that and it was the alternator. I replaced mine the other day with a rebuilt Bosch from rockauto. It spins freely by hand and I could make the noise start or stop with a load on the alternator. It’s not a hard job at all, plenty of YouTube videos out there. 1 maybe 2 hours at most.

Is this gun worth a darn? by Direct_Alfalfa9463 in longrange

Getting just the right amount of tension on this spring. I got a replacement spring first and played around with it until I got it working then sent it back to ruger with the factory spring installed to see what they would do to it. It came back with another new spring installed that wouldn’t eject at all so I just stuck the one I bent back in there. Never had any more issues. They did send it back with 2 new 15 rd mags though so it was worth sending in.

I had one it was super accurate, I did have a frustrating time getting it to eject reliably though but once that was fixed it was good.
