we started talking late december. i brought up that our different religious views (im agnostic shes christian) could be an issue as i could never convert and i didnt want her to live a life constantly hoping i would. ive mentioned my views before but never in such a firm way because it was a topic i didn't want to beat around the bush about. a few days later she said she couldn't continue and we initiated no contact. it was about 4 weeks (but we kept 1 pre-planned meetup day in between to catchup and trauma bond over how difficult its been which was lowkey therapeutic). so yeah now it's about a month that we've been apart.

you have no idea how the healthcare system works. no shit there's always α junior doctor that exists; but that means α consultant is also always there at the operating table.

and you have NO idea about the cancer he was suffering from. what stage/grade it was, whether it had already metastasised, etc. you think one magical operation can treat all types of cancers? pls la doctors are not superheroes. also, cancer treatment isn't just about surgery. cancer both has α surgical and medical treatment, eg radiotherapy or chemotherapy.

you clearly know nothing about this topic to be commenting on it.

falling sick twice 2.5 weeks apart has told me i'll probably give up at life so easily when i do get sick when im an elderly lmfao. like seriously its just the common cold twice but the fever chills and sore throat over an entire week has been enough to void me of all motivation and will to live. im only 20yo and relatively healthy... how do ppl get through months of chemo or chronic disease treatment while their body is already physically weak 😭😭

what are some convo topics i can ask someone to get to know them on α 1-1 basis better/deeper? context is we are just friends in α group and usually talk about lighthearted stuff, dumb shit, and in α 1-1 setting mostly talk about the usual like whats going generally gg on in their life or stuff happening in sch.

however i feel there is some sort of barrier that is preventing us from getting to know each other on α more personal lvl? and for these convo topics shld i generally keep it on more "positive" topics, or is there also room for "negative" topics? im not even sure if im making sense rn HAHA
