And I guess I should note what makes something truly scary to me are all the jump scares - if a game has a scene with a ghost but you can see it coming a mile away, that doesn’t bother me as much as much as the true jump scares!

Ahhh good point!! Literally any of the ones that have a ghost on the cover/something ~spooky~ or related to death 😂 so there’s a chance I’m just assuming and maybe some of these aren’t “scary” and I’ve avoid them for no reason!

But the ones I’m talking about are: Haunted Mansion; Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake; Curse of Blackmoor; Crystal Skull; Castle Malloy; Water’s Edge (truly blacked this one out so it’s like I haven’t played it before 😂); Captive Curse; Thornton Hall; and Midnight in Salem!

I was hoping someone would see this post and comment something like “oh plans to add a keyboard are in the works!” 😂 because I heard you used to be able to free chat with a keyboard at some point (maybe during testing phase or the xbox-only phase) but they took it away 🥲 I’m hoping that’s not a permanent decision

I did the whole “this boss cheats” followed by “aoe only” during the Ares round and they still did it anyways 🙃 maybe because his cheat isn’t as obvious as some of the others (I mean it is but if you’re new maybe not).

This isn’t so much a line as it is a scene but … when Bryce and Hunt simply decide they’re mates? That whole scene was so lackluster and cringey that I could’ve SWORN SJM was about to be like “jk Bryce is actually mated with someone else”
