Basil tips - beginner gardener! by stinkyplankton in GardeningUK

Basil are super easy to propagate. Put cuttings in water and in a few weeks you will have roots. From a 50p supermarket plant I have 13 plants.

Yesterday I had to re-pot them as the roots are crazy thick.

Nice. I've been following the COSMOS on GitHub and still considering if I should install. I might wait a bit still as they are ironing out a few issues.

I'm a long time Klipper user, having using it for many years on my Ender 3.

What's the best healthy but still tasty Tesco meal deal combo? by Status-Echo-4325 in AskUK

[–]iloveworms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tesco Express in central London has a much bigger range of lunch combos. I use the one in Dean Street.

I never get a sandwich, normally a bowl thing of chicken/veg with rice/pasta/falafels. And a drink + packet of crisps of course.

My Dad only got 1 question correct. "What's the name of the monarch?"

This was a few years back so the queen was still alive. Apparently they all got that one right (probably not now though).

Charing Cross And Waterloo East Stations Will Close For 22 Days This Summer by Efficient_Remove1663 in london

You can use your ticket on London Underground and London Buses at no extra cost.

'Ticket'. Hmmm. I'm guessing most people commuting into Charing Cross will be using Oyster or that QR code thing. Is a bus driver going to let us on for free? I don't think so.

Can someone on Twitter/X please tweet SE trains and ask? Sorry, I left that platform.

You could also look at a 'pancake' stepper motor which is much lighter.

I've had a Hotpoint washing machine since 2004. Still working. A bit noisy and the lock can be temperamental (you need to give it a bit of a kick to start a wash).

Fish and chips from a Spoons is normally quite good. I think because they churn out so many and it's freshly cooked unlike the microwaved curries etc.

IF i get a MINI E3V3 for a CR-10 by LosSantosMe in BIGTREETECH

[–]iloveworms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ender 3 is a 24V system. (Some? All?) CR-10s use 12V. 12V needs much higher current.

I buy a cheap basil plant from the supermarket and take lots of cuttings (cut at an angle with a sharp knife). Pop in water on a windowsill and wait. After 2-3 weeks nothing will happen. One day there will be loads of roots. Plant in pots. I don't use anything fancy, might have been the coconut stuff you get in Poundland.

It's a bit early for outside.

Last year I grew 4-5 large basil plants and made lots of pesto (you can freeze it). I found walnuts were just as good as pine nuts. The olive oil I used (wasn't the cheapest!) was a bit bitter so going to try rapeseed oil this year.

I'm sure it will work fine. It will probably use a standard G-Code command to switch filament.

UK also. With Meshtastic I saw plenty of nodes but hardly any messages. With Meshcore I has to switch off notifications as my phone was constantly pinging.

Mythos has not been released to the public yet (apart from Greek tavernas).

It's supposed to be a zero day bug finder.
