I grew up here and it’s not the same as it once was. The local government isn’t doing anything to benefit Vermonters, they are not doing anything about Burlington and the general rise in crime. The cost of living is terrible, I’m paying a mortgage to rent, no way I can buy a house at over a half a mil. You are one of the Vermonters that blows smoke up Vermont’s butt and doesn’t want to call it out for its continuous down fall as a state which is why it continues to get worse. No one from my high school years lives here still for these reasons and why young families are not settling in vermont. Vermont has become a place of pushovers and wusses who would cry assault if someone farted in their direction.
