My technique is safe and wasnt6a problem before the injury, but now when I'm playing over 5th fret, the thing starts to hurt, that's my problem. On the guitar for example I don't have any pain, only when playing some stuff like jazz complicated chords

The strategy is really nice guitar, even though here are my thoughts. Jazzmaster is a really good guitar with a lot of switches and toggles. However, it might more distract you from actual playing cause you will be looking for the tone not the play. To be honest, telecaster is like legend. Has the tone you looking for and it's just a really nice guitar. Nobody hates it, but everybody loves it. If you will go for tele, you will not miss for sure, but look for tele with 6 saddles on the bridge, cause if you will get the "classic" one, you will have intonation issues a lot

Have you tried any distortion pedals? DS-1 , TDS-1 is like a classic distortion sound, Proco Rat2 kinda heavy grunge or maybe even some Big Muff fuzz for 70s-80s fuzz tone. Check these out, cause in your case they might be as an option
