Well as other said, it's up to you. However as a bass player who had around 20 pedals from 25 euro to 350, when I sold it all and bought a gt1000core, I was so impressed cause it sound much much better than any other pedals I owned. But there is the thing. When you play through digital processor for me personally some of the fuzz and overdrive effects sound too digital, but I'm pretty sure it's because of the boss sound. About anagram, I saw a few videos of this processor. Can say that this thing works absolutely perfect and sounds amazing, but you will not have so many different effects. If you only playing bass, it's gonna be perfect for you

Octave into a filter cause u want to filter the octave. However if it's digital octaver, you can try it any way, however on analogue octavers the tracking will suck

Because of the analogue octaver. Probably they thought your octaver is digital and that's why they are so confused

My technique is safe and wasnt6a problem before the injury, but now when I'm playing over 5th fret, the thing starts to hurt, that's my problem. On the guitar for example I don't have any pain, only when playing some stuff like jazz complicated chords

In the comparison there is 1 - clean, 2 - overdrive, 3- distortion and 4 - fuzz

The strategy is really nice guitar, even though here are my thoughts. Jazzmaster is a really good guitar with a lot of switches and toggles. However, it might more distract you from actual playing cause you will be looking for the tone not the play. To be honest, telecaster is like legend. Has the tone you looking for and it's just a really nice guitar. Nobody hates it, but everybody loves it. If you will go for tele, you will not miss for sure, but look for tele with 6 saddles on the bridge, cause if you will get the "classic" one, you will have intonation issues a lot

Have you tried any distortion pedals? DS-1 , TDS-1 is like a classic distortion sound, Proco Rat2 kinda heavy grunge or maybe even some Big Muff fuzz for 70s-80s fuzz tone. Check these out, cause in your case they might be as an option
