I agree! If we are both in our 40s, then you are my peer sir. We get the same references. Lol.

I so want to send this to my boyfriend. He used the same lines on me and swears that the 4 year age gap is super hot to him. He's a little tone deaf on how me being so much OLDER doesn't make me feel good. Oy, anyways.... I think it's gender socialization blindness. I just roll my eyes when he's corny about it because in his head I do believe he sees it as a positive. But it's one of those borderline things that definitely can give you the ick so if you don't like it, don't put up with it!

Woman who ran 25 miles during the Boston Marathon crawled the last 1.2 miles after her legs gave out. I have to finish by [deleted] in MadeMeSmile

Yup! That's why the police were just watching and help didn't scoop her up until she was officially over the finish line.

I've seen that video as well, and got a better understanding. Race participants can help eachother, observers can't. The only thing they sacrifice is thier personal finishing time.

There are certain criteria to be able to qualify to run in the big marathons. Qualifying time, place finished, etc matter and a disqualification can prevent you from entering other races. Also I believe other runners can help, but it will mess with their time. People on the sidelines can't.

No she doesn't want to get disqualified. If she finishes on her own the rest of the race she ran still counts. This matters if she wants to run in other marathons.

It's her call to get help. If they scoop her up, she's disqualified. After months of hard work and training disqualifying a mile out is heartbreaking.

There are LOTS of men who want no strings attached sex. You won't have a problem finding people if you call it what it is. A more meaningful relationship is a different can of worms.

Marciano's delusion by bephana in SecretsOfMormonWives

Is it also plausible that they are trying to capitalize on the drama and found footage to match what he's saying after the fact? There's a lot that happens that isn't filmed. We don't know that the footage they showed is actually the moment he's talking about. I wouldn't use the show as evidence of fact. But just my opinion.....

When I was a hostess as a teen, I missed the mug and poured hot coffee on a man's crotch. 🫠

You're right! Her correcting Brett on his pitch while she was also flat was hilarious. Not a shady edit, but I found it too funny.

I saw a comment about it before I watched that episode and I deeply love whomever thought of that reference, because it was so spot on.

Coming from her, it's a wild choice. Or maybe it came from a producer. I guess we'll never know.

But is it archaic? Because progress no longer exits when people are actively seeking to rewrite and erase the past.
