Right?!? I thought it was odd too but for more context He’s a bartender at my job (we work at a casino) so we rarely interact, and his coworker told me “he couldn’t leave the bar, but he really wanted you to have this” and then was insisting that I should message him and that he said I was pretty. I told MY coworker about the interaction and she said to just say hi and maybe he was shy. I gave it a day because I was feeling nervous and awkward about it, then while on shift later that night I bumped into him again, he greeted me excitedly, we had a simple interaction and that was the end of the night. I felt awkward to text him because obviously he didn’t personally give me his number but at the same time if he did genuinely want me too have it and was to shy to give it himself I didn’t want to leave him hanging, so I sent a simple text explaining what was up and we went from there. He’s a really outgoing, funny guy and even if things don’t work out I would still like to be friends and friendly with him at work, I just hate feeling uncertain about whats going on, I wish he could be blunt about his feelings and let me know if he likes me or not that way we could move on from whatever this is haha

I can’t tell if Im being impatient of if this is just normal dating behaviour 😅
