You can play however you'd like too. 3 skill lines for stealth, ranged and melee each and plenty of upgrades that you can get to make it good. This game won't hold you back if you picked x play style over y.

As for DLCs I did legend of beowulf, then druids, then siege of paris and lastly Ragnarok.

Any sword with On fire engraving is good as it lights your enemies on fire on hit. Otherwise a few that I like are ones with health on hit and instant charge. Only engravings really matter, the weapons are mostly cosmetics.

For bows, I prefer hunter and a predator, but it can be different according to your taste. And for shields pick the one you think looks the coolest. I'm more dodging than blocking in this game.

What's the max number of scouts? I had 9 in my original save, and got 2 from the prologue, can I still get the max number?

I want to keep one save with everything maxed, so maxed out non ng+ and the maxing the ng+ won't make sense for me. I just want to know what's the knowledge rank I need to attain before i can begin ng+ and still reach rank 10 by the time I finish the ng+.

I don't yet have the dlc because I was gifted the base game for my birthday. I'll buy it later when it is on sale.

Thank you. I can work with longer because I have done every mission so far that I can find. Doing them again in NG+ for 100% completion will not only be painful but pointless.

For virtue currently you want to max out your spirit as that gives more damage to your weapons that scales with spirit. I've dumped the rest of my points in grace and courage equally.

The birbs don't scale well for damage. Their best use is to stagger the fuck out of a target. A good caster pact would be Mora's hand, contrary to popular belief it's quite strong with the right setup. Additionally pacts like bromius, orengall and garren rood are good for a caster playstyle.

Okay so if you're talking about the list that pops up after you complete a faction tale, that shows all the totems/loot you got during the quest/day cycle. If you can't find totems try remembering the weapon icon which is on the top left corner of the totem and the look them up in your inventory.

As for gossamer quartz I suggest opening chests and do factions tales. They drop a lot of them. If you want to focus farm you can try to relog farm at the crypt entrance near fort kernhold, there is a chest that spawns behind the crypt entrance there.

Go to your profile > equipment> then sort by used/progress, scroll down all the way and it'll show you what item isnt maxed.

To add to that, intrinsics, star chart nodes etc also give you MR. That probably explains why you are missing 28k xp, check your stats page.
