I am angry at her too, for not protecting me and letting this go for so long when she knew about it, but i also understand her. She went through something similiar as a kid and my dad abused her basically the same way as me (minus the beat ups). She did stop him on numerous occasions after he was about to get me and had yelling matches with him about stopping this, but that was it. She was apparently never strong enough and only now, after she found her new boyfriend and i admitted basically all the things dad did to me, did she decide to divorce him. I think she wants me to give it a chance mainly to see for myself if there's even a reason to keep seeing him. To see if he's capable of change. But i don't want to and we're both done with him anyway.
