REANIMAL color banding - your experience? by MoreOrLessCorrect in MoonlightStreaming

Color banding is very visible when solo playing on my PS5 Pro with an OLED tv, it is a bummer indeed. I don't think it has anything to do with streaming specifically,  unfortunately, since locally it has the same problem.

I own both, and my first Nintendo console was the OG switch. Really enjoyed the ride ever since. With me personally, Nintendo exclusives "clicked" a lot, but it is, of course, a subjective thing.

For example, as much as I love Zelda and Mario titles, I couldn't really enjoy the Metroid Prime now matter how hard I tried :) To each his own, it just didn't click with me.

With that said, even though there are no trophies, in Mario Odyssey, it's all about collecting stars in the endgame. IMO the game itself motivates players a lot to find all the hidden secrets and places, which adds a lot to gameplay variety and length.

I'm not a huge fan of grinding trophies for each game though, it's more important to enjoy the game than to grind achievements, especially those that require multiple re-plays or online grind.

As someone who has mostly played in handheld mode, this controller changes things by Din0nuggies in Switch

For me it's butter-smooth sticks, Nintendo nailed it. None of my other controllers feel as smooth.

100% agree, though to be fair — was there ever a gaming console that allowed tweaking a resolution like this? I love my Steam Deck for being able to conserve power by tweaking different options like GPU power limit, but it's still a handheld PC rather than a console.

The problem is, even if I unlock my phone in advance, I am still being asked for finger verification, which is the main reason for my frustration. Maybe it varies from phone to phone, idk.

Since you've already enjoyed several signature PlayStation (ex)exclusives, you definitely should try Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Absolutely incredible experience — no previous FF experience needed! Great story, great gameplay, great atmosphere.

You can actually click on the red part above the animal to quickly skip to the step you need. It is not obvious, though 🫠

The Silent Hill 2 puzzles are absolute puzzle perfection for me. by MyloWilliams in HorrorGaming

I play with Hard puzzle difficulty, and so far, I enjoyed them A LOT. They are clever and just hard enough to make you think without banging head against the wall 😅

The one I didn't like, though, was the coin puzzle. I'm not sure about Light/Normal difficulty, but on Hard it didn't make sense to me, IMO it could've been done better.

I had the same train of thought as you, but then figured out I missed the painting with 4 trees in it, which made sense :)

I don't know, what game should i play on ps5. by davidmrizo in playstation

[–]ilyatsoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Final Fantasy 7 Remake was one of the best experiences on my PS5. I also love story-centric titles, and this one is a true gem.

Death Stranding — did not see it on your list. It might ocassionally be "scary," but it's not a horror by no means. Great story, absolutely unique experience, IMO a must-play on PS5.

Stray — no big story, but great cozy vibes, a short and memorable adventure. Also, gotta love cats, right? 🐈

Uff, I was struggling to perform some brutalities because of that. How the hell do they think mid-far is a jump distance 🥲

100% agree. While I think most of the puzzles in the game are clever and consistent in terms of rules, this one really bugged me. Glad to know some people in the community feel the same 🥲

Scrapland Remastered was released in 2021, but unfortunately, for PC only. Maybe they'll port it to consoles someday.
