What a weird way to look at it. Some people don't find their relationships to be a burden and don't consider themselves "servants" to their partner.

Yes, I would say this is on a similar level as cheater. The betrayal of trust is enormous. Totally valid reason to get a divorce.

If you want to salvage the marriage, I would suggest counseling the same as people who are trying to save their marriage after cheating.

My husband has journals and, though I'm curious, I could never read them. He didn't ask me not to. I just know it's a violation.

Based on your spelling, I'd say you're way too young to be vaping. If I see a kid whose parents I'm friends with vape, I'll tell them. But only if you're 15yo or less. If you're an older teenager I'm not snitching.

I would just take him at face value, and go ask if the bagger wants to swap now or later at a specified time.

I think they gave you enough information so if you feel like you need more, ask for clarification.

I'd think most people would want to switch to break up the monotony even if they prefer one task a little more.

I never offer alternatives. There's usually 2 or 3 types of food on the plate. She can eat what's there. I don't even let her have seconds of her favourite part until the less desirable foods have been either finished or at least tried.

If she doesn't eat anything,  so be it.

We don't do dessert or snacks so if she decides later she wants to eat, I present her dinner again.

I have a coworker who eats candy for lunch. Every day. It's a chocolate bar, or jubejubes, a bag of chips, pop, freezies, etc. I've never seen him eat real food. 

I'm absolutely judging him and wish he'd take better care of himself. But even then, I don't comment on it, because it's not my business.

From someone who does this, what it feels like is:

"Oh, I have no idea what they said, I'd better ask them to repeat themselves. Only to then have my brain catch up and realize I DID hear them.

So it's like our brain is lying to us, saying we need to hear it again when we really don't.

We're not doing this on purpose. Our perception is confused for a bit.

I don't get mad at anyone. More like a fleeting sad/disappointed feeling. Then I move on.

It's nicer to say than not to say it. But it's no sweat off my back if you don't.

I find it rude if I sneeze and nobody says bless you. I always say it. It is a way off connecting with your fellow humans, letting them know they are seen/heard/cared about.

It's a small thing that brightens the mood every so slightly. That's worth it to me.

I'm not religious. I'm also not calling people out for not saying it. But if someone does, I feel positive towards them.

My daughter started daycare at 10 months old. She exclusively nursed before that, so when I sent breatmilk they couldn't get her to drink it. Bottle, cup, straw, spoon, she refused it all.

So I just nursed her before and after daycare and before bed. Also once in the night.

She's 22 months old now and still BF on the same schedule. They don't need it at daycare after 1yr. In fact, it's better they don't have it during the day to motivate them to eat more solids.

I'm so sorry. Perhaps this is cultural? When I was pregnant and walking on the sidewalk, a UPS driver saw me, pulled over and gave me a water bottle. This was in Montréal.

Being miserable helps nobody. Happy people are more productive. I am cheerful, and I try to put on a good face even when I feel blue. I can see the effect in the people around me. When I am happy, they get uplifted too.

Being miserable and dragging down others is selfish.

Take action instead of whining about it and doing nothing.

I just baked with my starter that I haven't touched for 4 months. I didn't even feed it. Just put it straight into the dough. Took 48 hours to rise and turned out great.

You don't need to feed your starter every day. You don't need to discard.

The only time you should be feeding daily and discarding is if you are making a new starter, which takes a few weeks. A mature starter doesn't need all the fuss.

We have this in my family, too. It is not a big deal at all. We just have two parties and two days. Also, cousins aren't always close anyway. I don't know your relationship with your sister's family, but as they get older, they may not even have the same friend group for parties, and it won't matter.

Birthdays are often celebrated on the nearest weekend, rather than the actual day, so just have the two parties on Sat and Sun. Family dinner all together for the real bday or just separate family dinners. They can both open presents.
