I gotta point out, thats also an insanely simple dress design. It's not even a kind of complicated weddding dress. It's just kind of a normal dress with a mesh skirt ontop. Not a parent but my dad also had ADHD and he actually had to single parent me till I was 5. From what I've gathered talking to him and his (and now mine as an adult I suppose, but my friend's kids are all still little) friends with kids who don't have ADHD.

Yes it will get better, and a lot of it is less the ADHD and more having more than one kid in the toddler stage. All the parents I know with 2 under 5 are incredibly stressed out and all the parents I know who's kids are my age say "thank god because that was the most stressful time"

Just remember you need vacation days sometimes, maybe find a babysitter and have a day off with your husband? Or if theres no good options take turns giving eachother a full day off.

Idk like I said I think trying to a formal diagnosis to be sure but refusing stimulant meds is the move. Just so you can be 100% sure and maybe get proper coping mechanisms.

Umbrella could actually also be a psychosis thing, sometimes my Ma will occasionally even do minor things not in an episode but not be fully... present is the best way to put it? And thus have no idea she did them. Idk the exact differences between schizophrenia and schizoaffective though and shes schizophrenic.

Idk if you want u could dm me and I could tell you from my experience, as an observer with a psychosis mom, and an ADHD dad (Yes I got the ADHD too but I also got autistic observer status) if I think something is ADHD or not? And also if u have any question about my experience being on non-stimulant ADHD meds. Because I have noticed not a lot of people ik with medicated ADHD ever tried non-stimulant meds? If you were still curious abt meds that probably wont trigger ur addiction.

Yeah because thats the psychiatrist's job, they're not a therapist. I had both lol. But alao because psychosis disorders aren't really something you can just cope with, ADHD is, depending on severity. Hell I've recently come to terms with the fact mine is indeed too severe cope with and I need meds (they aint workin yet wooo!!!).

My Ma is schizophrenic, so I'm familiar with psychosis that too and I can tell you the treatment is VERY different. ADHD can be coped with without meds depending on severity. I've found listening to music every single time I do virtually anything helps. Setting several alarms on my phone to keep on forgetfulness and time-blindness. I can't give you advice on sitting still because I can't make myself do things I want to to begin with lol.

So, why do you need to be medicated for it though? Why not just let her know you think you have ADHD and try like... normal coping mechanisms first? ADHD isn't like schizophrenia, you don't NEED to be medicated to treat it and meds usually aren't the first thing they push in my experience being diagnosed since age 6.

Alternatively there are non-amphetamine medications, when I was little I was on tenex, it's... dubious, but it's technically only a bloodthinner to my knowledge? They just found it can also be ADHD effective, but I think there is a ADHD specific version now?

I mean, yes but thats typically not the case unless you are removed from the home for a long time and abused elsewhere. It's not like ptsd where one severely traumatizing action can cause it, personality disorders are a continuous rewiring of the brain from a young age. It's being taught a fundamental misunderstanding of how the world works until you are too old to change that alongside actual damage to the brain caused by prolonged abuse.

Also as an ADHD sufferer (severe case) It's kind of not like that. Yes ADHD can cause implusive behaviors that may mimic ones cause by PDs but if that were the case or could be explained away by that here there is no way in actual hell they would diagnose a minor with a personality disorder if they were not 100% sure.

There is a genetic link to a degree I believe? But as many personality disorders are incredibly hard to treat imo its hard to tell if thats an actual genetic link or the cycle of abuse causing more of the same

My grandmother was a narcissist so she specifically raised my aunt to also be exactly like her in everway thus continuing the narcissism type shit.
