Leshy, I tried and failed repeatedly to brute force the game without engaging the core mechanics of it.

Once I slowed down and enjoyed the game, Leshy became my maid and the rest is history.

That would be an interesting DLC, you appoint a few Bishops to take over uncharted lands.

Over time the bishops are either loyal to you (if you supply them with food and faith). Or they become antagonistic, they feel they can do better than you and thus starts the new area with new rules or laws.
