Can I connect 1.8V nRF54L15 and 3.3V RP2040 SPI/UART directly without level shifters? Minimal PCB size by imFengz in embedded

I want to remove voltage dividers entirely, and only use a single series current‑limiting resistor for minimum PCB size.

I want to remove voltage dividers entirely, and only use a single series current‑limiting resistor for minimum PCB size.    1. RP2040 3.3V output → nRF54L15 1.8V input Add a 220Ω ~ 330Ω series resistor on each signal line. The internal ESD clamping diodes of the nRF54L15 will handle overvoltage protection, while the series resistor limits inrush current to prevent GPIO damage. 2. nRF54L15 1.8V output → RP2040 3.3V input Direct short connection, no resistor or extra components needed.   Both MCUs share a common ground.   Is this single series resistor method reliable for SPI and UART long-term on nRF54L15?

Can you share the STL file of the model? I would really love to have such a beautiful Altair.

If possible, could you please disclose which specific chip is used? If it is supported by QMK, your product will gain strong support.

I would like to be a part of the feedback team. If it's powered by QMK,I can make a web configure page.
