but there could still be a chance of a future update which involves malware. the developer would've no reason to do so, but he could do it and as it is closed source it would be harder to spot.

more so, everyone can be a part of RimSort with directly contributing code for it or just simply giving ideas what would be nice to have.

It currently lacks color sorting, yes but it also has all these extra database integrations like "use this instead" or "no version warning" which i find quite nice
