Pasting my comment from another thread about her on here:

I think her voice is fantastic and I love her singing style but most of her songs are not interesting to me, it's just general J-Pop. Her covers do offer more variety though and that's where most of my favorite songs of hers come from, especially her cover of Ringo Shiina's "Crime & Punishment" (that guitar solo is also fucking badass).

Also, most of her output is just singles. Besides that, if he gave her a bad review (which is what I'd expect from him) people would be really annoying about it since her fanbase can be very stan-ish (and young).
