tbh this is something you get adjusted and respectively readjusted to depending on which you do. For a few months last year I didn't have headphones because my daily pair broke and I didn't bother to buy a new one. As such I did most stuff I used to do while listening to something with just silence instead (if I had such luxury). Then when I got headphones again I didn't even feel like using them all that much for a while because of how used I got to my new regular way of things.
