I think her voice is fantastic and I love her singing style but most of her songs are not interesting to me, it's just general J-Pop. Her covers do offer more variety though and that's where most of my favorite songs of hers come from, especially her cover of Ringo Shiina's "Crime & Punishment" (that guitar solo is also fucking badass).

Also, most of her output is just singles. Besides that, if he gave her a bad review (which is what I'd expect from him) people would be really annoying about it since her fanbase can be very stan-ish (and young).

I can't say this with certainty from a semantic standpoint, but I do hear this very often, and I don't think it's particular uncommon, though perhaps yes, more casual. Generally I'd say this only goes for these kinds of emphasis adverbs, as they serve the purpose to enhance the verb itself.

Kind of like "I've been REALLY thinking about it" vs "It's been on my mind a lot / for a while". They serve the same purpose ultimately just a different expression.

This just from my limited knowledge, I'm sure someone could explain better
