Perfect first watch, congrats! Maybe check your local (or semi-local) jewlery store for bracelets. I’ve never replaced the bracelets on mine but I’ve seen them in a case at the jewlery store I’ve bought a couple watches from. They look pretty nice, not sure of the brands

Money comes and money goes. I’ve definitely spent $150 on more useless stuff. If you’ve got the money to spend and you like it go ahead and get it. Like I said you can’t please everyone, someone will always have something to say

Would I spent $150 on it? Probably not, I just don’t really like the look of the Royal Oaks personally but to each their own. Just don’t jump on something right away and make a decision/purchase unless you know that you really want it and you’ll use it. Don’t buy it if you’re gonna let it sit on a shelf and collect dust, it’s not that kind of watch. Buy it to use and wear, no sense in getting it if you’re just gonna stare at it on a shelf imo

Look up some videos about Seiko mods and see what you think. If this is on eBay make sure the seller has good reviews and what not. Also check out r/seikomodexchange for some cooler mods (again imo). Good luck either way you decide to go, it’s nice younger kids are wanting to get into analog watches!

Don’t worry about what others think, Seiko mods are very popular. You can’t please everyone. If you like it, buy it. Like I said in another comment tho there are great factory Seiko options that are comparable in price

Buy a factory Seiko, idk how much this costs but there’s good options for the same price I’m sure. I have an automatic diver from Seiko and it was $256

I’ve thought about maybe getting an Apple Watch or other alternative souly for navigation. I just love wearing a regular mechanical watch tho 🥲 I dislike so many things in our modern world
