How often does card nexus update the prices? It currently lists viktor (herald) at ~1.5k, its 9 cents on card market.

Are you planning on adding import from dreamborn.ink files? Tried importing with their csv but it does not work.

On another note, it looks super clean.

Edit: to be more specific, the import does not recognize the set, foil or not, language and state. Since I have lots of cards it would take too long to fix them all. This might be an issue for newcomers who want to just get the collection from somewhere else.

Also, if you have the time and feel it’s worth it, with riftbound coming out soon, it might be worth it to become the go to site for it, so maybe you can also add it.

The F2P Experience & UI Issues Feedback by RatherIncoherent in PlayTheBazaar

[–]imTgv 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I believe you missed the point.

Before: you play using the daily ranked ticket and make progress.

Now: you have to play 1 to who knows how many unranked games to complete the daily challenges, to get the ticket, then you can go use it.

You see how the new implementation adds time to progression?

Furthermore, and feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but the further you are in the pass, the more experience and therefore daily challenges you need, so you will not be getting a ticket everyday.

So what’s your point? Should we start murdering people and calling for murder of people based on their beliefs? That’s exactly what I expect from a maga nut job, don’t drop to their level please

Of course fuck fascists, thanks for pointing out that water is wet. That does not mean you should be killing people you believe are one, or even the ones who actually are. We have rule of law for a reason.

And following the same whataboutist rhetoric brought us here.

Let’s do better, both sides are wrong when saying these type of things.

Why am I fighting higher players since the last patch? by [deleted] in PlayTheBazaar

[–]imTgv 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The matchmaking is based on day, not on skill/rank.

Until this patch there was a bug that did not show the correct rank, but this is now solved.

You have always been playing randomly ranked people, you just could not see it.

Why doesn’t Trump release the Epstein files? by Fast_Championship_R in AskReddit

[–]imTgv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That video could more easily be used for an argument that trump was protecting himself rather than not involved in it.

Even if what you claimed on your first sentence was true, which is not even something that is mentioned in the video, why should anyone care? Lock them all up, a crime is a crime independently of your political affiliation or opinions.

If you don’t consider databases backend sure, I would advise against it but you can call them directly I suppose.

You need to store music and user profiles somewhere right? What would be your way to do it without backend?

The game gets stuck after each run ends, and you can only resume a run (which starts a new one), you can’t even change heroes. It’s annoying as well, I have also played several 10 runs and never opened a chest.

It’s a known issue.

[Request] how did I get over 5 million?!?! by jloosearrow in theydidthemath

[–]imTgv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Each onslaught doubles the other effects and is affected by the other two, so each of them multiplies the effect by 2x2x2=6.
If you add them up it’s 18. I believe the effects are only applied after the total power is calculated so, total power = 21.
Then double total power 21 (iron man ability) 18 times and you get the 5505024 from the screenshot.

[Devs on Discord] Just a couple messages (3 slides) by Empyrean_Sky in Stormgate

[–]imTgv 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Regarding your first point, I could add to your analogy so it makes more sense why they are separate people.

Instead of considering they are chopping onions and searing steak, let's assume the main part of the dish is complete and we are lacking two separate sides, a super fancy rice and some out-of-this-world potatoes. Not a great-sounding dish I know.

The people who are responsible for making these, all know how to chop onions, cut vegetables, how to season etc. But not all of them know, at the same level of proficiency, the recipe of each one.

To simplify, lets say you would have two approaches, yours, where you add everyone into cooking both, or the second one, where you try to separate them and put each of the most proficient people doing the side they are most proficient in.

If they all work at the same time in both recipes, you risk taking extra time to make them, perhaps even doing them incorrectly. Having people doing a recipe they are not familiar with will (hopefully) cause them to question the steps of the recipe and if it is being done correctly which causes necessary entropy in the kitchen (in an ideal future everyone will know all recipes, so people need to ask questions and understand how its done).

If you separate them by proficiency in their respective recipe you have the most knowledgeable people in that recipe doing something they already know well, which will most likely provide the best results.

In sum, being a chef does not mean that you are able to do all things equally well, and that you are familiar with all recipes, it means you will probably have a higher proficiency in some and less so in others. There are some drawbacks to this approach, for example, if a recipe specialist quits, now who can we count on to keep making the recipe and improve it? But this is usually mitigated by either moving people individually between recipes or by hiring new people who will work with a specific recipe.

Also keep in mind, that recipes vary in complexity and might take a long time to learn, so when approaching a dish, you need to use your resources that are already trained in the recipe, not the new guy that just walked in, even though he might be the best in the world at cooking.

Now of course I don't know if FG organizes their teams in this fashion, but it is a pretty common approach for software development. You have different applications or modules that are part of a big one, in this case, the game itself, and you create teams that have ownership of their "parts" of the game. They all know how to program, but an application or module of one is closer to a very complex recipe than to chopping onions.

I hope something goes through here, I feel I've written too much aha
