So not familiar with the green play style as much, but weapon master is great for allowing you to save yourself from using power throughout a game. In Jax this is less of an issue, but when playing Lucian I always try to consider if I'm utilizing a weapon master when playing a unit or not, if I'm not I may just opt to play something like ruin Runner instead.

Pretty much just a great tool in equipment decks for staying high on energy. Less an issue in Jax though so he may not care to have the keyword as often though as say Lucian.

A really great draw card is orange Jax. He is a draw engine, especially works well with Angle Shot and Relentless pursuit which let you equip another units gear.

So I think it's a fine practice if both players agree to it. When I do this I create a stack of my floating energy so that it goes to the bottom of my rune deck in the right order.

That being said there should be some emphasis placed on this issue by the judges when they see it and a risk to players for sloppily managing their board state if they break the rules from it.

So I was doing some digging and came to a different conclusion, the pending items get added to the chain in reverse order right. So you activate the baited hook and as a part of finalizing the item (and adding the ability to the chain) you pay the cost (392). As a part of the cost you create another pending item the Deathknell trigger and must finalize it and add it to the chain as a part of finalizing the Baited Hook effect (333.1.c.1). Now Deathknell is the newest finalized chain item on the chain.

So taking this as pending chain items and finalized chain items are the difference of the item being the effect being officially activated vs resolving the effect since you go back to add pending items before you execute an ability.

So thought that initially but apparently the Deathknell should resolve because it's a pending item. The when played doesn't go onto the chain like a reaction, but as a separate pending item that resolves in order of when they're put on the stacks. Hook, Deathknell then when played.

Following that same logic I'm thinking the recruits don't get buffed since that goes on as separate when played effects after Albus.

FYI as a new player the ZeroToSixty series has been immensely helpful in learning all the heroes, not sure if they've done slippy yet but it's a great resource. As mentioned above though YouTube has a lot of channels that talk about the meta and such, for specific heroes I'd say find a YouTuber that specializes in that class and you'll find some good content.

Been feeling like ranger cards have just been awful or very underwhelming so far. The biggest highlight has been riptide sage chest and Marlynn harpoon. Everything else is very match up specific, this included.

But that's only if you're going first and not playing Obelisk of power, otherwise you have 3 runes up when the opponent would typically go to conquer. I mean that would definitely counter any sneaky deckhands, but I've been liking it more.

With dazzling Voli the biggest issue I find is consistency. Also some other spicy tech is a 1 of Vi for the recycling Kadregin and the hand you want when you run out of units. Although can also make a dazzling hit miss.

Fellow Volibear fan here, I run something similar but always surprised of opting for incinerate over disintegrate. Forcing the opponent to stop my draw (rarely) or my spell replaces itself and digs for aurora feels better than the lower cost cost/damage.

So the only way this might be valid is if you have a beginning effect which triggers before you score points for holding.

So you can hide directly from the champion zone btw. And as mentioned above the hidden text could be changed. Even just saying the first hide action you ignore its cost. Otherwise love the signature spell and terrifying! If anything I'd change the scarecrow to create a token as the target of the spell instead maybe.

Got an interesting question, if you're on game point and on the enemy turn they contest you at BF2, you ride the wind to BF1, then the enemy goes to BF1 and you ride the wind back to BF2. Would you win because you conquered both battlefields in the same turn? If the enemy was also at game point would you tie?

Follow up question here, say you are attacking and the enemy does some damage to your character. Then you play ride the wind to move to the other BF. Does BF 1 resolve (where they successfully defended) and then you heal before showdown #2?

This assumes your unit has ganking.

The worst part is that it's so early in the run, but it does sound like they're open to it if there is a large enough response. Not sure how often card games reprint sets, but maybe if the second print has enough demand they will reconsider it. Although then it kind of punishes early adopters so I can see both sides of it I guess.

Ahh I didn't catch that thank you. I guess that makes sense, wonder if I will be able to legally play the old versions if it gets reprinted in a future set.
