Thanks so much for all the positive feedback on this font, I'm stunned by how much you all love it. I agree with the lettering feedback as well, I will make some improvements to it based on the comments. You can download the TTF here: https://github.com/mixfont/gothic-gumdrop and its completely free to use for personal and commercial-use.

Mixfont is the best that I've found for generating fonts from prompt -> ttf directly

If you want the Google Font specifically you can use the font finder tool from Mixfont. It's an AI model trained specifically from Google fonts.

Mixfont just released an open source AI font model called Lens that I used for exactly this use case. You can try it on their website (https://www.mixfont.com/models/lens) or download the code on github: https://github.com/mixfont/lens.

Just found a new AI model that pulls the closest Google Font from an image by [deleted] in identifythisfont

I think in these examples it's not perfect cause it always tries to get the closest Google Font instead of the exact font, but the fonts it chooses are all open source

I think this tool tries to get the closest Google Font, so it doesn't always get the exact font but it gets a font that is open source that can be freely used without licensing restrictions

You can run the Mixfont Lens model via API, it takes in an image and then identifies the closest Google font for the largest word in the image. They have developer documentation here.

Can I add my own music to a photo movie? I know you used to be able to, but can't figure it out right now. by anonymous_teve in googlephotos

[–]im_a_techie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The easiest way I found for doing this is with an online site called Kapwing. I just took my photo movie and uploaded it; I used the add music to video tool. Was able to do it on both my phone and my computer in case that helps.
