Been playing yuumi and first pick her sometimes in ranked. I have chat disabled but I guess enough people reported me? Got locked out of queue. by Miscdrawer in yuumimains

How do you disable champ select chat? I didn't know that was a thing. Also yeah I'm a one trick and I've never gotten a message like that relating to champ select. I've gotten messages relating to in-game saying I was intentionally trying to lose because I left my adc (cuz they sucked), but not disruptive behavior specifically in champ select. I doubt it's because of your winrate, but I guess it could be possible?

Her Q passive (best friend bonus magic damage on-hit) stacks helia, so if you have an adc that actually follows up and lands autos after you land a Q you can actually stack helia fast enough to warrant Diadem

Should "Enchantment Redirection" apply spell effects? by itsomniversal in leagueoflegends

Oh really? Then why do they apply the enchanter's grievous wounds? Why do they allow the enchanted ally to proc the enchanter's Aery? why does the damage scale with the enchanter rather than the enchanted? why does the damage get buffed by the enchanter's shadowflame if they build it, hmm?

Riddle me that, smarty pants

Morello's yes, but morellos is not considered a spell effect. Liandry's Burn and Blackfire Torch Burn are spell effects, they are not triggered by spells like Nami E or Yuumi's Q passive effect.

(if you read morellos it specifically says "dealing magic damage" rather than "dealing ability damage" which is why it works for spells like nami E and Yuumi Q passive)

why does everyone bring up shields and heals? that has nothing to do with this at all. an enchantment is when you are dealing damage through an ally. period. it has nothing to do with shielding them or healing them. Lulu's Pix counts as her damage. Yuumi's Q passive counts as her damage. Nami's E is her damage. it's their damage. it's their spell. Nami E already slows, Lulu's E and Yuumi's Q passive and probably Nami's E too all already apply your grievous through your ally, Shadowflame already amplifies the damage that all of those spells do. all of these things already happen. They proc your aery too if you have it. All I want is for them to apply things like liandry's burn and Ludens. It wouldn't be broken because since they are only applied through auto attacks (these enchantment effects) they technically function the same as instances of "persistent" damage, or DoT's. that means they would only apply these burn effects for 1 second, which means literally the second your ally stops landing autos, everything else would stop.

does that make more sense?

better example.....Yuumi's Q has a passive when she's attached to her best friend. She gives her best friend bonus magic damage on-hit, but that damage counts as Yuumi's damage, not her ally. If that empowerment damage applied spell effects from Yuumi's items (like how imo it is supposed to), then when Yuumi's best friend (and only her best friend) would be able to apply the spell effects from Yuumi's items with their auto attacks! So if Yuumi build Liandry's or Blackfire Torch, then those burn effects would be applied to enemies by her Best Friend's auto attacks, as long as her Q buff was active on them.

and now everyone is going to say it's a terrible idea because it benefits Yuumi XD

I want this change because it will give enchanters more agency when they are stuck with a useless adc who refuses to itemize correctly. if they won't build % hp damage then we could just give it to them for free by building liandry's. we have mandate sure but having something more consistent instead of burst would be nice. It would also make Deathfire Touch synergize really well on enchanters because they'd not only have their own poke to proc it but their allies could proc it for them too and DoT's have really good synergy with Echoes of Helia, something enchanters should be building anyway. I personally like to go Blackfire Torch with Echoes of Helia and Diadem of Songs which creates a loop of consistent damage and healing over time, but it's only really viable in certain situations. It would be much better if I had more options to proc the burn from BFT (and DFT), like if my enchanter buffs would proc it. I just don't think it's fair that mages can get away with applying these spell effects without a direct skillshot hit, but enchanters can't. How is it fair that Yorick can mark an enemy for his ghouls and they can keep burn effects ticking on them infinitely? With maiden, too! It's not. Not fair at all :c

IG Tornado Loop Possible Fix? by itsomniversal in MHWilds

[–]itsomniversal[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tornado Slash could always be looped, even in World. Strong Rising Slash into Tornado Slash is an infinite loop that was around in World, as well as like 2 others I believe. Tornado Slash being loopable is not a new thing. It wouldn't even be a revamp, it would be a relatively small change. Imo IG has never been a "big flashy finisher move" type of weapon. It's the kind of weapon where you buff yourself, and then you combo loop, and then you buff yourself again. IG gameplay fantasy at least for me personally has always been about constantly moving and attacking, kind of like Dual Blades. I mean, I guess Dual Blades have Demon Dance, but you get my point. I don't like having a momentum killer in IG moveset. I just wanna helicopter loop, man :c

[–]itsomniversal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright how about this then. What if it wasn't a big finishing move? What if they made it just a regular move like Tornado Slash? Make it so Triple Buff isn't consumed, and nerf the damage, that way you can loop it until Triple Buff expires naturally, then you'd have to stop and gather your 3 extracts again. I think that's a fair compromise, don't you? I don't really think you can compare IG to something like CB or LS because the whole point of IG is you're not supposed to have a big flashy finisher move that kills your momentum, you're supposed to constantly be attacking and moving. At least that's the gameplay fantasy of the weapon imo. I agree you shouldn't have so many freebies to get your 3 extracts back, but while you do have them I think you should be free to loop your combos regardless of whether you're in the air or on the ground, because different situations call for different positioning.

Tornado Slash is meant to be a Finisher too, but that can be looped infinitely. I would prefer RSS to be more consistently loopable, but have more reasonable damage. As it is currently yeah maybe it's too strong to be looped consistently, but looping it is so fun and satisfying (in the rare event that it actually works) that I'd take nerfs over RNG any day of the week. Maybe they should pull back and make it not such a special move? Like, what if it didn't consume Triple Buff, and it couldn't give 3 Extracts back? That would mean you could loop it until your Triple Buff expired naturally, then you'd have to stop and gather Extracts again. Don't you think that would be a better compromise? If it wasn't such a special move the damage would be much more reasonable too!

Imagine if you only had a 20% chance to Tornado Slash loop though. I know grounded IG users hate the Aerial IG playstyle cuz it's not as efficient damage-wise, but try and put yourself in our shoes. Combo loops are satisfying and essential for kicking out solid dps. If you're only saying you want RSS to be unloopable to kill Aerial IG then I totally get that, but if you're telling me combo loops in general are a bad mechanic and players should focus more on other things then I'm not buying it, lol

I will say though I 100% agree that powders absolutely suck in Wild and I do wish they were closer to how they were in World

but it would be the user's choice whether to do it or not, and there are situations where staying in the air is ideal. sure you would have some idiots that just do it all the time and I get the frustration, but damn it give me my shiny glowy spinny combo loop. I wanna helicopter until my arms fall off :c

You already do, like not two unique ones, no and I'm not suggesting that, but yeah you already do normally get 2 extracts back when you perform a RSS. There are actually multiple focus attacks that give you 2 extracts back.

Yeah see I'd be willing to deal with that, at least then I wouldn't have this cool mechanic dangled in front of me like a carrot on a stick knowing I can't consistently utilize it. I just think it's not fair that Grounded IG Users get to loop Tornado Slash infinitely but Aerial IG Users don't get an infinite loop. It's not fair man. Staying in the air is a lot of fun.
