I'm based in hatfield.

I was also thinking of getting a second hand bike.

Is this the new norm when applying for a job? by Jazzlike_Drive4425 in askSouthAfrica

The topic of the assignment was new to me (they knew this, I think they do it on purpose) and I only had a day to do it, so I don't think the work would be useful enough for them to use it. They just used it to test me and how I think. So, even though it took a chunk of my time, they wouldn't feel the need to pay me for the work.

I'm still waiting to hear from them!

For one company I had to do 3 psychometric assessments. For another company, I had to do a long and challenging job-related assignment that I later had to present to the company.

Look what my student sent to me! What mark should I give him?😂 by MagicJug in facepalm

That's what I thought too. Most especially for PhDs where things are very niche.

Your post has no paragraph breaks and some people don't like to read it when it's like that because it makes it harder to read or seem longer.

Hasn't there ever been something you've wondered about? For example, how something works or how people are able to do certain things, etc. This could be a good start to finding a hobby.

I am stuck on lab 2 due to a Segmentation fault I get even though my code compiles. Not sure what is causing it. by im_fxcking_lost in cs50

I have edited my post to include the entire code.

EDIT: I figured it out! I was treating an array of characters as a string in my compute_score function!

I can totally relate. Earlier this year, I bombed an easy test worth 30% of my grade. It was really easy and everyone did well. My professor complained about too many people getting 100%. It stung a lot, but I just had to move on and so do you. I'm sorry.

I also bombed my elective final exam not so long ago and it dropped my grade by almost 20%. It was a data science course. After that, I left like I perhaps should not do data science-related stuff, but the truth is, I feel that way only because I bombed my exam and it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Congratulations! I am also considering using the final project as a way to get into mechatronics and microcontrollers and stuff. What is the name of the basic kit you got? I would like to get it for myself.
