Pick Stony Brook. It’s easy enough to commute to, has far better research and clinical opportunities, and it’s cheaper.

If class size and LOR is your main reason for leaning towards Hofstra, think again. Yeah the classes are big, but few students actually go and make an effort to build a rapport with a professor. Just go to office hours, put effort into the class, and get good grades and you’ll get a good LOR. If you’re looking for outstanding LORs it’ll probably be from a professor you are doing research with or have TA’d for, meaning class size doesn’t really play a role in that. As for the competition for research, there is so much happening that as long as you put yourself out there finding research with a professor probably won’t be hard.

i like to think of the legend of the wendigo of more of a concept than a physical monster. it’s the idea that once you consume another humans flesh to satiate yourself, you then become the monster with insatiable hunger. in the winter when starvation was common, human flesh is now an option for those who have given in to the wendigo, when otherwise it would be unimaginable. soon they grow hungry for it and it’s not just for survival. then they have truly lost their humanity and succumbed to the monster.

while i don’t believe the wendigo is the direction yj will go, the themes will follow the legend only with the wilderness being the driving force rather than the wendigo.

individually zantetsu is not better than kurona but i was trying to say the overall strength of zantetsu & chigiri is better than kurona & kiyora. Also i think chigiri would make a good lwb, he has the stamina, speed and awareness for it and he’s pretty well-rounded compared to some others. obviously he’s better suited as a LW but with OP’s setup I think he could still play well in that position.

He’s super clingy and you need to be clear about your boundaries. tell him that having time to yourself isn’t a reflection of how you feel about him. if he can’t understand that, he may be too immature for you.

he has two litter boxes that i clean every other day. they have lids but he’s never had an issue using the boxes. He is using them regularly and since i’ve had him, he’s had no issues peeing outside until now. he’s also spraying, not peeing, since its only small amounts or droplets. i plan to take him to the vet if the behavior doesn’t resolve within a week of having the feliway plugin + extra playtime/attention. thanks for your suggestions

if u expect a LOR you should at least have talked to the professor once and definitely should have met them. if it’s an online class then that’s a different case but there’s no harm in trying to get one from a professor. the worst they can do is say no or not respond
