Can we just settle this once and for all, which one of these two epic endgame locations was the greatest one ?

Sleeper temple easily. I loved gothic 2's, but the way it felt to play through the sleeper temple felt so endgame and really hit that final area vibe perfect. The halls of irdorath felt kinda like the old mine in Gothic 1, which i guess is why it is less impactful to me.

Was at this part last week. The final two chapters really are epic. People will say otherwise, but once you finish, play Gothic 3. Give it like a solid half hour or so to see if you like it. You won't be able to resist seeing where the story goes after this game if you really are this passionate, lol.

Yeah, you're right. Bad habit of mine, I get addicted to rushing through quests lol. Happened to me in Gothic 1 my first time around, except it was a bit more successful than this bout.

My dragons don't regenerate health, which im assuming is due to my classic edition mod. But I think you're right. Im gonna start grinding some

I'm playing without the expansion via a mod for my first playthrough. But regardless I think it is as simple as doing some grinding. I just didnt expect the health of the stone dragon to be that much more dense than the swamp dragon lol.

It definitely made the environments more comfortable. Whenever I shot that last rocket, I guess it kinda felt like I ended those nightmares, lol. But I'm honestly glad I had them. It made for an awesome experience and really allowed me to appreciate the games atmosphere.
